How'd you make shadows under models when making sigs?

Unread post by Kuraine »

I can't seem to find a proper answer using Google (No surprise) and I'd really like to know. I realised recently while practicing with my signatures that adding shadows behind/under the models seemed to give them more life, and I've seen some really nice signature-makers around here that do it too. But I'm totally lost as to HOW you add the shadows... Can anyone help me?

In PSP the effect is called 'Drop Shadow', I'm unsure what other programs might use though.
