My new addition!

Unread post by Krysannis »

Today I went to one of our local rescues and got a dog I had been looking at for about a week now. He's a German Shepard mix and is so sweet! At the shelter his name was Clark Gable, I changed it to Arthas but that's not really sticking so I think we may try Dexter. Anywho, here's a pic of my new pup!

Sad news  This guy had serious seperation anxiety and I didn't think it was fair for him since The Boyfriend and I both work a good amount and although our scheduels usually don't match up at all (so one is home when the other is away) there would still be periods of time where neither of us would be able to be home. Even though we're mostly home I still didn't think it was fair to force him to work out his issues as soon as they needed to be fixed. This guy would totally thrive in a home with 1 or 2 other dogs because he adores any dog no matter the breed, age or energy level. I also think he would do better in the home of a stay at home mom who wants a big lovable guy who will lay on your tummy while you watch Law and Order:SVU.  Ok I better stop or I'll start crying all over again.

We're still on the search for the perfect pup and I have faith that he/she is somewhere waiting for me :)
