Now I have watched a video on youtube before of someone solo-taming Deth'tilac, so I had a bit of an idea of how he needs to be tamed. But as this was my first attempt, I was a little jittery to say the least, and I shot Deth first before laying a trap down, and when I did throw my first trap, I laid down a freeze trap instead of a frost trap. Luckily the other hunters there were laying down some frost traps though, and I went back and forth with the sending in my pet, reviving him, and sending him in again. Every time I put a frost trap out, I just laid it out instead of using my trap launcher, so I was just messing up left and right. When he was finally tameable, I delayed a bit in dismissing my current pet. Then I started to tame, but Deth was chasing someone the opposite direction and became out-of-range. So I ran after him, and, like a dummy, started to tame him while standing way too close. So he was on top of me, slashing me with his legs really quick, and then cast deathstrike on me so I died.
By the time I ran back, he had already cast deathstrike on himself and died. I felt soo stupid and noobish, but the other players who were there didn't yell at me, or act upset at all, they were very nice and cool about it. So thank you so much, guys! It's really rare to find other people willing to help out, esp. with these new rares. If you ever need help yourselves, or if you're willing to let me have another chance at Deth'tilac, let me know anytime!
