Just got Kirix as well! (also real)

To start, i was actually unaware that this is a common skin? Broodlings or something? o.o

Anyway, i hop on to do my Molten front dailies and think to myself, hm, maybe a quick eagle eye over at kirix's spawn... I take a look.

"Oh, he's there, wait... WAIT! He Is There!" I hope aboard my raven lord and rush over to him... Dieing in the fire ehehe... I quickly rush to the end as a ghost and resurrect. I run over... Only a Paladin and... and another hunter! I start to nibble on some food in my bags to replenish my health... whilst i do this the Hunter does not move, i stare at him sitting on the rock... huh?... I ask him "you there?" no responce... Uhm... 30 Seconds later, FINE! Mine Mine Mine! (yes i got a little greedy)

Now at this point mind you, i only had a minor idea of how to tame him... Something like Aspect of Wild on, Do two Concussive shots and Detterence tame: First attempt, die at about half a second left... *Gah* Run back, there are now about 4 people including the hunter still afk... all non hunters. All taking a seat to watch my struggle...

Second attempt: off by about 2 seconds

... Run back, about 5 maybe 6 people all non hunters (aside from the afk) ... Starting to panic

Attempt again: Off by about 5 seconds... Freaking out...

Start to run back, now you will get a kick out of this (had you read this far... Har Har) My computer suddenly crashes (blue screen thingy) ... Oh. My. God.

5 Minutes later and a lot of ranting I'm back ingame, i run up as a ghost cannot see Kirix... Respawn! He's still there! three hunters now appeared!

I start to eat whilst one hunter attempts a tame, he fails, another tries, failes... By this time and i do not completely unstand how there are alot of bones on the ground...

I'm out of ideas, a paladin pulls and starts to run away... He starts to run back to restart his path and panic and hit Tame


(Now this part, which is completely weird, i was shocked...)

All of a sudden... About 2-3 seconds after clicking tame... He's sitting by my side small and cooshie...

Dumbfounded i look around, people are all /Congratulating and cheering on my new buddy as if the tame was just a normal tame...

I decided not to fight it and let out a scream of Joy "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!"

Hem, then the afk hunter was back cursing my name and such...

Very Very Very thrilling and interesting tame.

They way I see it, you gave that hunter first opportunity...even if it was a 30 second window

My computer has taken many ...ummmm....heated moments of verbal abuse....especially during moments like this where you have to do it and get it down quickly or you could miss out! Also, just a pvp battle isn't the best time for it to freeze up!

Oh that is horrid timing on your computer's part. At least you got it back to working right.

And congrats on your tame. I got tired of spending the gold on repairs from him and tamed one of the little broodlings myself.
