My furbabies <3

This is my sweet Rocky - he's a four month blue point ragdoll - About four years ago, I lost my 8 month old Willow kitten in a fire. I was absolutely devastated... I got this boy a few months ago and sometimes I wonder if she sent Rocky to me, because he just like her in so many ways.


This handsome fellow is Leo - 5 year old domestic shorthair - I rescued him from a stray life in a lumber yard as a kitten. He is a survivor from that same fire...


This is my beautiful Ginger - a 3 year old pitbull (my favorite breed) - she's my bionic pup with a metal plate in each knee


And finally, my crazy Daisy dog - 2 year old Hound mix - I adopted this girl from a local breeder. No fancy story for her

Aw, what sweet pets. I'm sorry to hear about the poor kitten that died to the fire.
How come Ginger has metal plates in her knees, if you don't mind my asking?

She tore the cruciate ligaments in both knees before she was a year old. The plate help stabilize the joints to slow the development of arthritis. This surgery is called a TPLO or Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.

Pitbulls have weak ligaments in the knees in general, but she also has bad confirmation (she's a bit bow legged) so she was bound to have it happen at some point. She runs with the best of them though!

Aw, poor thing. She seems happy enough from that picture you took of her though! It's good to see pitbulls have some good light shed upon them.

They are amazing dogs! Truly loyal and completely loving. It's unfortunate that they are so frowned upon...

They got all that bad rep from bad (for lack of a better word that won't get me in trouble) people who insist on making them fight. It's such a shame that even more people think that it's a problem with the breed as a whole and not the way that people raise and train them.

Your Ginger looks like a total doll though; I love her coloring!

What sweet looking pets and they all look so happy. Sorry about your other kitty who was lost in that fire. Rocky looks so cute, fluffy and sweet (not that they all don't look sweet, he just looks so extra fluffy!)
