My apologies to the BE hunter that was just standing there. I waited a few seconds before starting my tame (there was also a decent gap of time while I ran over there, still in disbelief that NPCScan pinged the real rare). I just have this huge paranoia when a rare I really want is up that someone is going to run up and kill the poor thing and I've been secretly pining for Skarr. >_< I think you let off a second silencing shot (the bf says you did) so I thank you for that.

My new baby hunter whos named after myself (well, my mind in the form of a little twisted stuffed animal and now a blood elf rofl) Bloodyrusco and HotChocolate!!! I was on my way to tame bayne and i randomly tamed one of the duskbats and stabled him in brill, went and tamed bayne, compared the two and chose HotChocolate instead of Coria (its what i called bayne)



I had an instant connection with my new bat, i think he and i are gonna stick together right till 85 (oh yea and thats my Cornish Rex beside me, i have yet to name him lol)

I've been meaning to spend some time with Astaroth lately in hopes of forging a stronger bond, and I think everything's just finally clicked. He's been more difficult than most of my pets for getting a grasp on his personality, but I had a feeling it was only a matter of time before it all settled.

I'd been debating on taming Grunter for a while. At the time I didn't know why, but his coloring appealed to me. Even though I have the Flaming Boar from Mulgore, I loved the new model for this rare. Grunter was up while I was on my way to the Outlands...and I just had to tame him. I finally realized why I loved the skin so much--the coloring is pretty similar to TLPD's. I took my boar (now named Truffles ) to Storm Peaks for a photo-op with TLPD:

Though we're clinging to the side of the mountain, TLPD couldn't resist a chin scratch on those spikes!
