Nerds of both genders are frequently much better looking than the stereotype, so long as one prefers real humans and their variety to clone-looking airbrushed models at least. It's a common observation on other nerdy websites I frequent, such as TV Tropes -- damn fine looking bunch of people there and here.

Its true, indeed. I myself am not a nerd so to say, just a gamer. Nowadays the difference it only off by a few differences.
Either way the steryotype is rather insulting and I'm glad this thread helps proove it wrong.

I feel the same way... It's kinda creepy. I think someone at my school does eye make-up like her, and they look rather similar, but none-the-less, it's a bit odd.
