Keeping an eye on your pet on battlegrounds

Ok guys here is my problem:

I lose my pet very often among the crowd when I fight on a battleground. The problem gets aggravated during crowded battles such as Alterac Valley and especially Tol Barad.

While questing, I solve this problem by putting a raid mark on my pet, so that I can quickly find it wherever it is. But it is not possible to do the same when in groups or on battlegrounds (unless I am the leader). Minimap doesn't help because colored dots that show my teammates cover the dot that shows my pet. If I turn on nameplates for my pet, I have to do it for all my teammates as well, therefore it doesn't help. Turning on the name (not the nameplate) is not effective, because it is not visible at all from distance.

My question is how do you make it easy to keep an eye on your pet's whereabouts? Is there an addon that I can use?

I macro everyting I made a macro with clear target and pet follow i spam if i need to collect my pet. And have petattack macros with my specials so I don't need to send him out.

Oh yeah. It's even worse having a Pet like Gondria who's almost invisiable already. Often, I Lose him when he's standing right next to me and I turn the camera a certain Angle.

Shoot, I completely gave up trying to use Ghostcrawler since he's so low to the ground If I stealth him, I'll never see him again.
