Daggercap Hawk?
My tauren is lvl 42 and I"m considering a Northrend run for a daggercap hawk. I just recently found out about them and it seems like it would be a neat catch for a lvl 42. But, I've also read about some animation oddities. I can be pretty picky about animations. Does anyone have a daggercap? If so, could you describe the oddities you've observed yourself and tell me if they are annoying? I don't want to make the trip only to go "Oh lord, I hate this bird!" I would test tame on my main but her stable is full and I don't want to release anyone unless it's for Loque or Arcturius! Is this bird really worth it?

The oddity is that while you're running around the bird stays in its idle animation - it flaps, but it's not the 'forward flight' thing. Truthfully it didn't bother me at all, I thought it was kinda unique.
It 'runs' normally underwater though.

It always flies normally when you do 'walk' not run with num lock or whatever. I can also say a few other birds also seem to have this quirk or handicap, depending on how you feel about it.Vephriel wrote:The oddity is that while you're running around the bird stays in its idle animation - it flaps, but it's not the 'forward flight' thing. Daggercaps are level one mobs. They just happen to be situated peacefully in Northrend.
