I'm in so much pain right now. I came home from a job interview and I have no idea what happened bit as soon as I started walking up the hill to my apartment building I felt a horrible wave of pain and now everything below my naval hurts as if it's being smashed with a barbed wire covered baseball bat and all the wounds are being doused in salt. I barely made it to my bed and now the only comfort I have is that my cats are next to me purring as hard as they can to try and make me feel better. I almost threw up on the floor and I just want to sleep until the hurting stops. I was fine all day until just a few minutes ago, all I can think is wtf why.

When I was in high school my 'rags', my sister hates when I call pms that, but I don't really care hehe, anyways they were so very bad, if I wasn't in the nurses office from cramping so bad, I was either yarfing or dry heaving into the restroom.

What remedied this?

BC pills - birth control

The first round was some other brand I forget, it's been a long time but on those, my monthly routine was extremely heavy, painful, & pretty much non-stop, it wasn't good so I'd called the Gyno. she wanted me to finish the pill pack then go back to her again of which I did & now I'm on something else for over ten years now.

My monthly shindig lasts a few days, is very little, minimal pain, almost zero nausea; & I'm good to go

I dread ever having to go back to not having bc pills... it'd be absolutely horrible.

I beleave I might have an yeast infection XD cos it's very itchy down there and stuff I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow for a check up on another ulcer I had a while back so I'll have him look or what not. Sucks if I do tho seeing as my bros takeing me down to wellington to have a party weekend for my 2st with our cousen this weekend. :S Noone wants love if you have infections downstairs lol!

My ovaries are trying to explode. Pain even though I am on Midol. Ugh. Also, I don't really feel nauseous (yay meds), but eating makes me puke. Fun times.

So I'm with a new medical program, which means a new doctor, who covers all aspects of the patients including, pap smears...now what turns me off about this, is that he, is a guy. I've never had a guy take care of that aspect, I've got no problems with it, but made feel awkward when he said, "Oh we do that too...". When I inquired about getting an annual soon.

I talked to him & the receptionists everyone reassured me it's all good, so to speak, that there's never been any problems, that it's quick no dilly dallying, but still I was kinda "um..." 0.o

So anyone else have a male well, take care of that, if so, does it bother you, do you not have a problem with it, what's your input?

By the way...I go back tomorrow for this, bleh awkward!

Yeah my gynecologist is a male. It does not bother me much really he's a very nice guy and he's very gentle down there haha XD

I mean I can understand feeling awkward about haveing a dude look at your junk as it's a dude and most men would love to see that kind of stuff but I'm pretty sure he wont do anything dodgy as well he's a doctor it's his job to make you feel not awkward and stuff and I'm sure you are not the only person he's had feel that way.

I actually talked to my mom about that once and she said she prefers it when it's a guy. Apparently they're really gentle. Women, however, know it doesn't hurt and aren't gentle at all. :1

I used to have a woman, my GP, do mine, but then for one annual pap she was out so they had to have a man do it. He was actually gentler than my GP, believe it or not.

I finally got an actual ob/gyn and he's a man, and he's very very nice and gentle. So, personally, I prefer men over women. I know there's a stigma or something but they are professionals and I think after seeing a bajillion lady parts in their lifetime, one looks the same as any other.

I found out one very possible reason I haven't been able to get pregnant: my progesterone levels are butt. "Borderline," they called it. I have to start taking a low-dose fertility drug next month. O.o Watch me go from not being able to conceive at all to having triplets or something crazy.

Those things hurt me, too, actually. I think it gets better with each one I get, that or my new gynecologist is just really good. I know my first one, my abdomen hurt the rest of the night. "Oh, we're just going to take this little brush to get a sample." "Little brush" my butt, the thing felt like a flaming rusted metal rake. They aren't so bad now though, for whatever reason.

Well update it was only for pap, he's not a gyno. just a personal care physician... guess he covers a lot of aspects of the patients including, paps. Anywho, ya' it was quick of course, go next week for results.

Gah I think I might be with baby ;_; Least I hope I'm not. I hope I'm just very late in the time of the month. Being a single mother would suck.

I'm actually surprised that my dear old monthly visitor hasn't been as hard as me as it used to be. I used to be in horrible pain for at least an hour or two on the first two days. x.x Of course now that I say that, it's going to go back to being hell when arrives this week. Damn it.

I'm having the opposite problem. I really want one and my period's about four days late, plus I've been having some other funky stuff going on. I go in for blood work tomorrow to test my hCG levels, and I'm hoping it's positive. I have this horrible, sinking feeling that my period's going to start tomorrow morning and I'm not pregnant.

When I was in college, I was convinced I was pregnant when my period was late, because I had always been so regular before. When the test came back negative, the clinic staff told me my lateness was probably from my stress over my father's heart attack.
