My Kirix and Skitterflame challenge

You see, I was tired and I tamed them by taking advantage of bugs. They were the last two of the spiders I needed but getting them this way eventually didn’t feel they were worth it. So I challenged myself to retame them in the way as they were designed to be tamed.

Kirix - I died three times before the Disengage approach worked. The funny thing was, I Disengaged and hit the hillside behind me and found myself almost back to where I launched from. Proper Deterrence timing (more of a panic cast) was the winning move.

Skitterflame - I killed him the first time with a third Freezing Trap I didn’t break in time. 16 hours later, I found Skitterflame again. I died twice but the third was too close for comfort because I had to break the third trap with my axe! I was able to tame with about 20K health left.

All 10 were tamed in BM spec… 6 without the use of NPCScan. *grin* Here’s one proud hunter. Thanks to Jessibelle, Katelyne, Moonwolf, Kewwa, and all the other Moon Guard hunters who were part of this crazy journey. Now off to help out other hunters...

Grats on the spiders, I've only seen skitter get killed in front of me and I had to kill him once due to horde coming in and trying to steal him by killing me.
