New Spirit Beast patch 4.3 { Speculation }

We have alot of spirit beats already but as a Troll im seriously hopin we get a Raptor one. Does anyone agree or like this? Would love to here comments!

You should always phrase a title with words such as 'speculation' if you're just wanting to discuss future possibilities rather than concrete new info. EDIT: Thanks, gives less heart attacks to people who read and think there's news.

I'm still holding out for a reptilian Spirit Beast of some sort. I agree a raptor would be fantastic, I also wouldn't mind seeing a crocolisk, serpent, devilsaur, or warp stalker. Also hoping future Spirit Beasts are opaque instead of transparent, I'd like more along the styles of Loque and Skoll rather than misty ghosts. (just personal preference)

Hah Np i dont get much time to reply to many things on here but I only play a hunter and many of my friends know me on Illidan as the tamemaster. I agree though. Navy Blue with white stripes but the raptor model from the barrens not the ones form Blde's edge and definetly not a dino they move like their ducks.

I'd love a spirit beast that was not transparent, and not blue/green/white/purple. Something fiery red, or dark in colours I'd love.

I think it should be either a snake or a wind serpent. I'd say something kind of dark blue/dark purpley, kind of like a 'dark' spirit.

I am thinking a raptor or devilsaur would be great! And yes.. I am sick of these ghost looking ones we need ones that look different and not just.. ghost models or re coloring of ghosts models. I adore my magria and ankha but only 2 out of the 9 arent a ghost type. Yes we get it they are spirit types but skoll and loque look so much more amazing then the others. Id love to see a lava type devilsaur!

Just echoing what everyone else has said. Would love a reptilian SB so so much and yes no more transparent pets. It's not fun seeing a pets eyes through their butt.

I don't want 4.3 to introduce ANY new spirit beast at all.

Come on, folks. We've gotten FIVE of the bloody things since Cataclysm launch, 3 in the last major content patch alone. Given that the new hobby for some people seems to be "let's kill rares mid-tame to upset the hunters," I think a patch with no new spirit beast of any kind would be a very, very good thing.

New rares? Sure. New rare tamables? Absolutely. I just think our cup currently runneth over with spirit beasts (which are only usable by one spec that, might I add, isn't doing well in any section of the game currently), and that we could sort of use a cooldown on getting shiny new spirit beasts for one content patch and let them work on the other problems of our class with a bit more concentrated focus.

I'm going to have to agree here. I understand that Blizzard wanted to add verity to the family, but I think we can go a patch or two without getting a new Spirit Beasts. This patch introduced three of them. I'd love some new tameable mobs (Rare or not) that feature some neat skins. Personally, I'd like to hopefully see the Hydra's implemented more then a new shiny pet.

Gonna back Tahlian up here - I don't want any new spirit beasts. And ideally I'd like to avoid any more 'challenge' rares for a while. Maybe rares entirely, at least for this patch - I'd love it if they'd slip some of those unused skins into new zones as common mobs. I think the situation out in the Front was made worse by the fanfare over it up until patch day, and we probably could have avoided half of the mess now if they were 'stealth' challenge rares, slipped in without much fuss.

I would like to see spirit beasts that don't require BM spec, if that makes sense. Something along the lines of Olm the Wise, but shinier. And hydras.

Id love some kind of white spirit lynx with glowy eyes of some sort. Or a spirit fox. Or spirit serpent. Well, anything thats a spirit pet and not a cat, and preferably not transparent.
