Unfair for Alliance

Dragonpuff, were you around for Vanilla? The alliance had the fad kids a long, long time before the horde. They all rolled paladins, and ran around trying to act like avengers of justice. It was very, very painful. It's just that when TBC came out, all those little kids saw the pretty elfs, and said "OH! I CAN BE A PRETTY ELF PALADIN!" and away they went. I was not sad to see them go.

When I said spared, I meant for the BC and WotLK expansions. Alliance dealt with the fadkids in vanilla, and Horde has had them for the last two expansions! Now, they get some back, and it makes me happy. Hopefully we'll end up with an even ratio of fadkids to good players. XD

@ Saturo: When it was even. When Alterac Valley wouldnt last 5 minutes but 2 hours of constant fighting at the Snowfall graveyard till one of the 2 sides had enough materials to summon the Big Boy to make some path

My mains are all Alliance (sadly my brother and husband prefer Alliance or I'd have rolled Horde long ago.....), but I'm not bothered that we get one less class. It's not that big of a deal. Though I would probably totally play a gnome hunter. Honestly, a worgen paladin would probably be pretty nifty as well. I dunno, I guess I don't think too much about it.

As far as my new characters, I'm probably going to do a worgen warrior and mage, and a goblin lock and/or hunter. Hmm, I don't think I have enough room for all that, though, lol.....

As alliance, I myself, personally, don't have anything against the imbalance. It's just another /sigh moment for me. But as a company, I think it'd be a bad move on Blizzards part. At THIS point, they can't really afford to cater to one side or another anymore. This isn't like in Vanilla WoW, where Blizzard wanted to encourage people to play as the horde, or TBC, where the wanted to try to ease the shock of the elves going horde.

Most of the people here are pretty level headed, they wouldn't fly off on Blizzard for something like that. But most if not all of us have seen the official forums. We KNOW what kinds of tantrums and fits the players on both sides are capable of throwing. When you get right down to it, it is a pretty fair sized imbalance ((Albeit one that wouldn't actually affect gameplay in anyway.)) so the screams that would echo across the Blizzarding community would be appropriately ear splitting.

You know, there are some days I'd really, REALLY like to be able to 'do something about' members of my own faction.

I honestly don't think it is meant to cater to anyone. Personally, I think Blizzard just wanted to give Horde a 'little' race, and Alliance a 'badass' looking race. It was just unlucky timing that Worgen are coming out in the era of Twilight, but its probably been in the making for years, and they can't change the plan simply because of a book series. I do honestly think that this will eventually even out the fad ratios between the factions.

On another note, there should be a Twilight faction, so anybody can smash them. They'd have auto Hated rep with eveyone else. >:)

I think humans and forsaken should like have the same classes as really ones just a undead verson of the other....

The undead should never, ever get paladins. It doesn't fit. At all. Tauren fit more then undead would. I'm still smarting over the blood elves getting paladins, to be honest with you, but eh, nothing for it.

I understand the lore hesitancy about undead paladins, but I have to say I'd be tempted to try one (briefly). "The Light casts a dark shadow ..." or "We serve the Light from the darkness, but we still serve the Light."

There are a few undead I've met, lore wise, who'd make great paladins, to be honest. And while it pains me to admit, there are undead running around in Icecrown who have retained tainted version of there paladin abilities, and I have seen ghosts and such who use paladin abilities. And HELL, the Scarlets can have paladins, and they have been headed by a demon for years now. I just despise the thought in it's entirety. *Shrugs* At least undead priests have the whole 'shadow' tree justification.

But, there are PLENTY of In-Game 'Paladin' Undead NPC's... Look at any Argent Crusade members who are Forsaken... ALL those NPC's are technically Forsaken Pallies...

On a serious note though, there are several Forsaken who are pretty much paladins in the Argent Crusade. There are actually a few that I remembered admiring when I was leveling as horde, as well. The problem is that on the overall, AT THE MOMENT, the Forsaken as a whole just don't fit for paladins. This is why the Tauren got them first, and to be honest it does make more sense for the oversized cows. The Forsaken as a whole right now are just to 'evil'.

Admitedly he was never really that into the whole lets abuse the power of a god- even if he does have the need to get an arcane fix every once in a while he does have some decency. So he'd filch it from gnomes and human paladins. When the Belves were 'redemed' so to speak by the Naaru in Shatarath, Caim basically told them where they could stick it. Along with the alliance for waiting so long to do anything [no offense Palla]. And he has this real serious backstory and all and....




then sometimes I throw it to the wind, strip him down to his briefs and chase Ariamodasu around 8D



But this does make me realize something, if Draenei and Tauren are getting their own 'Lolcharger', what about Belves and Dorfs? I don't want them touching my horse- nah-uh, I didn't level Caim to have chickens. I don't want chickens on him, outside the Blood Chicken from the tourney and the white one from MGT. All others? Screw them. Same with my tauren, could you imagine it? It'd be a DIRT BROWN KODO I BET. WITH FAIL ARMOR that's almost the same color as it! I mean look at kodos, they're almost all BROWN. Yes sure they have some shading variations but it's all BROWN. I know Draenei would atleast get a white Elekk which thinking about it now might be atleast better than A DIRT BROWN KODO.
