Aeonaxx ?!

So, as you might have seen, I've been camping the Time-Lost Proto Drake for 23 days now. I've seen and killed 12 Vyragosas so far. Now, usually before each Time-Lost camping session (and after I kill a Vyragosa), I go to check on Aeonaxx, Poseidus and the Mysterious Camels. This time, however, I flew out of the Temple of Earth and my NPCscan sounded off. It was Aeonaxx. I guessed it was the engaged version, but I clicked and he still had the silver dragon around him and was friendly. After a couple seconds of frantic searching for him (his icon wasn't up on my minimap), I saw him and flew toward him. No-one else was in sight (I checked afterwards, only about 8 people in Deepholm on Alliance). I was shaking and in BM but the fight was still really easy (he spawned maybe 5 whelps that all died in 1-2 hits and did 1k DPS). Although I prefer the Time-Lost mount this certainly helps to make up the 23 wasted days so far

I wasn't really expecting to find him on flybys either (maybe the camels or Poseidus but not Aeonaxx).

So ranged weapons can be used on him now? I remember when it was "supposedly" only melee...

Yup you can shoot him just fine now. I downed him with Arcane Shot, Cobra Shot and Serpent Sting.

Ooh, that's good to hear. I think there was a yt video of when you could only melee him. I might decide to camp Aeo than TLPD...
