Non-Beast Mastery pets to match a Human Hunter
I recently got bored of being Beast Mastery, as fun as it is I need to take a break from it. So I look through my stables, and see nothing that matches me as a Human Hunter. I browsed for a bit and the only one who really stuck to be is http://www.wow-petopia.com/images/skin_ ... neagle.jpg . I really don't think Humans have any traditional pets like Night Elf/Cat, Dwarf/Bear, etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! c:

I have a human hunter alt, and I agree that they seem to go well with 'natural' pets, things that would make sense for a human to own. I don't know if that makes any sense, lol.
I like bears with them. Though they are traditionally a dwarven pet, I think they fit humans nicely as well.

Owls, Hawks, Eagles...they all fit well in a falconer sort of aspect.

Perhaps a boar, though they're used more often as livestock by humans, a farm-raised hunter might attach to one.

A lion is the Alliance motif, and they seem to fit as good companions.

Can't go wrong with a faithful hound.

A fox is equally fitting.

Then wolves seem like another natural pairing.

I'd go with silver/gray pets to match your hunter. Idk, if they match her look-wise you might get more attached. Gonna second the silver hyena.

Shrug, I have both and they click.Cerele wrote:they look wierd with any sort of silithid, or ravager... its just odd

I actually just did a photo shoot with all my pets on Kalliope - 23 different families in all! That might help with picturing some of the pairings.
It's all a matter of taste, but I absolutely agree with Veph - there are certain types of pets that feel like they could actually be tamed by humans. All of her choices blend well, and the more "realistic" colors definitely suit humans. Ursa definitely approves.
