Ah, Kirix. My favorite pet. The god of all pets. The spider of awesome! I love Kirix, if you can't tell. I tamed him TWICE I love him so much. He looks amazing and has really awesome animations. I love his idle animations. Just look at the pics and bask in the awesome:

All in all, you can definitely say I love this pet. His animations are awesome, his sounds are okay (just tiny little squeeky noises once in a while), and his model is awesome. I love his web ability and his ability to keep aggro once he gets it. Now, for the hard part. TAMING him. If you don't want to tame a baby clone, you must tame the real Kirix. To do so: There is a certain rock you can stand on. You have to mount jump to land on it properly and it really helps if you have the haste buff provided by the nearby vents, but its not needed. Once you're on the rock, wait until Kirix pats into tame range, or rather, close to it. Summon a corehound, pop AH, dismiss the hound, then pull Kirix with tame beast. You should have him tamed before he poisons you if you have all the aforementioned haste buffs. A haste pot will help too, if you want. I used the rock method both times I tamed him, but I hear there is a disengage method that works just as well. I don't know that method, so I won't post it here, since I haven't used it. All in all, LOKI IS GOD! That is, er, Kirix. He's a keeper! I think the true rares that have commons that look the same should have something extra added so everyone knows I tamed Kirix, not a baby clone. Like perhaps silver lining on the legs. That would look AWESOME! And keep with the metallic theme going around (Skarr is metallic!)
