Logged in, flew over Hyjal looking for rares (nothing was up), then ported over to Northrend. Nothing in Sholazar; nothing in Storm Peaks; flew over Zul'Drak and Bam! NPCscan goes off. There's Gondria, in all his purple glory! I drop down and tame him. He's pretty cool, I like the way his footprints leave little clouds of mist behind him, and decide to call him Smoke.
I do some archeology, run a heroic, mine a couple stacks of cobalt and get ready to turn in for the night. But I decide to make one swing through Sholazar just in case, because deep down inside I really wanted Loque'nahak more than the other spirit beasts. He was the first spirit beast, after all, and his colors fit my white pet theme better than Gondira's.
So I drop off my panther at Valiance Keep, fly up to Sholazar, and just after I cross over into the basin, Bam! NPCscan goes off again! Look down, and there's Loque'nahak prowling around near the base of the Skyreach pillar. I hurriedly land, go to dismiss Smoke, accidently hit Mend Pet (damnit!), find the right button to dismiss him instead, drop a freezing trap (just in case!) start the tame....
He followed me home. Can I keep him?
