King Krush Hunt!

I was hanging around in my channel, around Deth's spot just camping for random folks, when someone says KK is up. Someone in channel rushes out and tames him. He says he found KK along the path behind Nesingwary's camp below the Titan structure.

If anyone cares, 2 hours after he tamed KK, I figured, WTF, why not, and went to look for Aotona who had eluded me to 2 years, and lo, I FOUND HER! Perhaps she and KK share a timer/spawn or something?

Well... i was doing laps when i saw him, i instantly dropped down and kept getting feared as i was taming.... he was nomming my face pretty good so i had to keep feigning and bandage/eating during each attempt... theeeeennnnnn a draenei shaman skipped along by... i was a blood elf lol, i sat there with krush eating the back of my head jumping around, flailing madly, emoting at her (didnt know at the time it came up as 'strange gestures') and i think she realized exactly what i was doing and ran away... then i got feared and had to repeat my taming process a few more times till i got him xP

There was another time, i was camping for Loque and i hired 2 ppl to camp with me, krush spawned and all 3 of us met up and we took turns getting feared/eaten/killed as we tried to hide Krush away, i found a waterfall (it was the wasp area) and i sat in the pool of water by the falls and let him eat me and fear me and id reset when i was getting low health cause i was waiting for my guild master to show up xP She didnt know how to come from Org to Sholazar..... took half an hour for her to come to us and we reset for her to tame but Krush kept eating her alive so i had to hire a healer to help and after a close call (the healer almost killed Krush, trying to defend himself cause his heals ripped aggro), and 3k gold later.... my guild leader had her giant green lizard :3 We pranced around with them for a while after that

I wanted him for a looooong time, saw him get killed once and that was it. Haven't seen him since :/ I no longer have room for him in my stables so even if I did find him I probably wouldn't be able to take him home. Best of luck on your hunt, I hope you find him soon!

Thank you, I dont know how much longer I can tonight. It sucks because I swore to myself I'd never camp him even when I saw him because I loved him so much and I knew he'd drive me crazy... Call me crazy but hes my white whale..my ultimate hunt.. and he just doesnt want to come home..

Vulpixen - summers have always been the worst to hunt for rares, in my experience. Either Krush is tamed or killed by leveling or gathering players. School's back on and I'm sure King Krush will show up soon. Good luck!

He was actually the first rare pet I ever found, and he's the one who turned me into a petopian and pet tamer. Before I'd only used ONE pet in my whole life; Moony (who's the blue-grey cat with white spots in my signature) but anyway, on to the story:

Well, yeah, I was questing. In Sholazar Basin. And I ran across him, and naturally I go "Wut is this guy he's so huuuuge :O" and it's not long before I tried to tame him.
Now, at this point, I was level 80 in terribad gear. So I fail. Several times. I go on a long chase after losing him for a bit, and on my way I discover Loque'Nahak (!) and tame him. I drag my friend, who's a paladin,'s butt over to Sholazar, and he tries to help me a couple of times. One time a tauren shaman appears and sets up his totems and starts attacking King Krush, and I'm screaming "KILL HIM KILL HIM QUICK NAO" and my friend does (he was an 83, the shaman was 82). Finally, one time, I was veeery low health and Krush was about to kill me in the next hit, when nothing happens, the tame continues, and now I'm thinking "aww lag I'm gonna insta-die pretty soon" but instead he shrunk and stepped next to me. (Imagine my reaction xD "O_O" *Yells in guild chat*) Turns out my friend had stunned him, and let me complete the tame yay paladins!

But, uh, good luck with finding him! He's quite the ninja for some though, I've heard, so watch out!

I actually tamed him in the lvl he is in! And i have to say, It wasent an easy task! He hit me like a truck!!
But when the tame was done, he was happy to be my loyal Companion!

How random, I was just reading this post as I logged on to my hunter, npc scan goes off and there is King Krush.... al'akir server.
I was really waiting for Aotona.

I really hope your hunt isn't anything like mine was. It took me almost 4 months to finally find the elusive Krush. In that time I ran across 5 (or was it 6?) Loques (found homes for some, some were dead, one was being tamed by another hunter), and I think two Aotonas (tamed him).

During my hunt, I found Krush moments after he'd been killed. That was sometime in the first week or two. After that, nada for weeks and weeks. I had friends and guildies who were leveling alts in Northrend and would check for him when I wasn't in the basin. In the end, I'd left been doing Cata dailies one evening and decided to go ahead and make one more pass in the Basin before heading off to bed. NPCScan went off and there he was. Soon I had my new green buddy.

I have only found two Krushs during my whole wow-life (3 or 4 years by now). One was when I quested with my dk, no hunters were around, so I killed him (sad, but no one wanted him). The second one I found was with Larkania, my Tauren. I was assigned Aotona in the random pet challenge and was looking for him, but found Krush. I tamed him and wanted to dismiss my brown rex instead, but I couldnt let her go. So I kept my "normal" Njenna and let Krush go

My best King Krush hunt was with Sasrei,I have been looking for King Krush for two months, finding only bodies or if I did manage to try and tame I was killed and some guy ran up to kill him for the achievement. By this point most people knew that I wanted king krush by my advertising in general chat "Wanted: Godpheara Godpheara! If seen hefty reward for my safe capture of beast". This was before cata so I was lvl 80 and at this point.. my guildies were having way too much fun mocking me in shola . I was doing my usual camp when I unexpectedly.. dc'd... logged back in and I get a whisper from a hunter that someone in general said king krush was up! I asked and the druid said he was still there, so I invited him and a priest and finally got my KK! Atlas has been with me ever since and wont be going anywhere soon

oh and Sar they dont share spawn timers, otherwise you would have been waiting 6-14+ hours instead of 2.

Would anyone happen to know perhaps if he has spawned on Hellscream? I'm not sure if anyone from that server uses these forums but I've resumed looking again since last night so any timer would be helpful.
