After doing dailies, I scooted on down to finish up the 1K Needles quests for my sloooow trip to Loremaster. Then it was off to Tanaris. While there, I dug up some Troll artifacts and that made a Tol'Vir node pop up down in Uldum. May as well fly down there and snag that right away.

While flying over Uldum, Silverdragon goes off. It was blue Madexx. I guess NPCscan already had him cached. I've never really been actively after Madexx. I usually do a casual flyby of his spawn area whenever I'm in the zone, but it's not like I've had my heart set on getting him. I've too many tanky pets as it is. Still, this was the first time I'd seen him out in the wild in any color and I figured I'd go for it.

For some reason, I decided to just name him 'Blue.' Not the most creative name, I'll admit. He's grown on me a bit and I did rather enjoy riding around on my Kor'Kron Annihilator with Blue and my lil Durotar Scorpid vanity pet scooting along behind.

Haha grats! I got blue Madexx first myself. Her name is Enyo and I love her...And I've tamed the red also..Even though I didn't really want it but...He's grown on me. |D

I got Red Madexx first. I didn't want him and asked in general for an hour or so, eventually felt sorry for the guy, and tamed it. I named it Noonetamedme. Someonefinallytamedme wouldn't fit, sadly. I don't use him at all and he's just stabled.

Blue is the one I really want. He eludes me to this day.

After getting red, I got green a few weeks later, then camped for blue another 3 months, then semi-gave up. If someone finds Bluey, and lets me tame it, they get paid 2k, but I don't actively camp for it myself anymore. Just do flybys and spam that macro.

Congratulations! Even after all these shiny new rares have come out, I still love Madexx, I'm not sure why. I don't know if it's the model itself, or his many fetching colors (yes, I even like bronze), but I just adore him for some reason.
