Ok, so when I first saw Ban'thalos, I never really wanted him because I'm not that big on the colour green. I told myself that if I found him, I'd find a hunter for him...
As a Spirit Beast collector, this was a big fat lie to myself.
So when I went to do my dailies and saw a yellow dot flying over head....I called my mage friend...
One death and 10 minutes of failing to get on that tree later I finally got on, laid my trap, flew up, shot him, brough him over, watched him get frozen...And then break out and fly down! Major 'WHUT' moment as I noticed he had DK attacks on him...Great...Someone was trying to steal him. Well that didn't go over too well as my foe died very fast and I was left standing on a tree with a new bird!
I then had to explain to the druid that I just tamed the rare and that Cata rares don't drop anything....
He's already growing on me. =D
Okay, I've heard talk about landing on a tree. I have not actually seen any of the new rares for myself, so I didn't think it sounded that bad. But, THAT'S the tree you have to land on? It's about the width of a toothpick!!!

Thanks and oh ya. It`s THAT bad. You have to be pix perfect. When you do get on the tree it`s easy but getting on that tree is a painnnn. Yay mage slow fall. XD
Yeah, once I finally got on that tree I refused to move till he spawned. Which is what happened. I logged out on the tree several times too... I wasn't moving till he was mine, was a pain to get up there =P
