So i got Vial of the sands should i get Travelers tundra...

So i got vial of the sands for just 12,000g
and i have more than enough to get travelers tundra mammoth, do you think it would be worth it if i bought it?
i do a lot of pvp and group questing, do you think i should get the 3 person mount?
or just stick with my vial of sands and save my money?

I bought the mammoth because I'm a mount collector, but it turned out to be VERY useful for my raid group who want repairs every now and then.

The traveler's tundra mammoth is amazing for wipe-runs through the troll heroics (well, it happens from time to time when you go in there with a LFD pug, no? ) and in raids. The multi-person thing isn't so much a draw as the repair is.

Congrats on your vial! 12k is nuts, that means you got it for less than the price of the purchased items used to make it!!

The mammoth is also wonderful for when you're solo farming instances for mounts or gear. Pop out, reset the instance, vendor everything you don't want.

The mammoth is a bit expensive, but well worth it. In group/raid environments, it's nice to have the repairs available.

It's when solo'ing, however, that I find it invaluable. When farming, working on Loremaster, or even just doing daily quests, it's rather nice to be able to mount up and sell off the assorted stuff you've looted or gotten as quest rewards as opposed to going off to find a vendor somewhere else in the zone.

Do you have all the netherdrakes/nether rays? They'll help that number a lot. I have 108 mounts and I don't even have the nether rays, and only one or two of the tournament mounts. I've been meaning to go back and get them all, but I have to start from scratch, since when I faction/realm changed it reset all of the Argent Tournament for me. -.-

Yup, have all of the rays and nethers.
My guild does EoE and Ony runs, so I always have a chance at those mounts, if they would ever drop. But that's rare in itself.


I could probably boost the numbers if I got off my lazy arse and leveled tailoring for the carpet(s)...

Hrm. I'm honestly not quite sure how I got over 100 mounts so quick, it just kinda... happened one day. The Violet Proto-Drake was my 100th mount though.

so i bought the vial for 12k and did a drawing of this guys mage (which only took 30mins) and i got the vial

I think Aoenaxx was my 100th? Him or a rep mount, now I can't recall.

I'm trying to save up for the vial and am getting depressed with how long it is taking. I go and look it up for sale in the AH and see it going for 45k-60k when it is up and get even more depressed.
