Sigh, I think this is luck, or its a real change?

Over awhile, I have noticed that the White Hawkstrider from Heroic MGT has increased droprate, it might just be me, but here are my drops over a few months, well.. few months ago were the first two, the last three were fairly recent, about over a week or two.
Total of 5 drops.

1 - Bag of exotic mysteries - To my level 51 Shaman.
1 - Got it on my main (druid) first run.
1 - Was on my alliance character (another druid, my main is horde though.) had it drop with a friend, passed it to my friend.
1 - Friend on alt with one of his friends claimed to have seen one drop.
1 - Tonight, I did it on my main for giggles.. I now sadly have a birdy in my small little frostweave bag,

? - About to do it on my priest.. probably won't drop though. <-- I was a tad too lazy to do it tonight, I'm tired. :l

Is this really insane luck or did they really change the droprates? I apologize if there is a thread already about this. (I really didn't know what to put it in, I just typed in "White Hawkstrider increased droprate?" no results.)

Compared to the other mount drops in game, the Hawkstrider has the highest. I think you might be just seeing an influx of them simply because people can breeze through MgT. I have it on 3 of my 85s, but no luck on the paladin I really want it for. Really though, how often did you farm it pre-85?

As you don't give us any idea of the total number of runs involved, how are we supposed to know what your drop rate is? The overall drop rate is 1 in 25, which is fairly common.

Ohh! Sorry, I'm not really sure how many runs.. I'm pretty stupid. ._.

Thanks for giving the droprate though, that clears it up.

I have had absurd mount luck. That little white hawkbirdy still eludes me.

I think I got mine in around a week on my DK. Don't remember for sure, but it wasn't very long at all. I'd just smash my way through when I had a few free moments.

Haha, yeah, I got mine on my hunter pretty fast. I'd just dismiss pet and camo from one boss to the next in aspect of the cheetah... However, at the same time I's done countless runs on my mage and never got it

its drop rate seems pretty high compared to the others.

farmed it back in wotlk, my friend and i got one the 1st run, then got another a few runs later.

then i farmed it solo with my pally and dk, only took about 2 weeks, approx 10-15 days each.
