My New Pogeyan!

I was just having fun questing in Stranglethorn, and i tamed this beastt.
I ended up calling him Clawz :3
Is Pogeyan a really rare pet? or not?

Pogeyan is a rare spawn in Stranglethorn. But if you mean rarity as in do hunters tame him a lot....then no cause on my server, almost every lowbie hunter I've come across has her. But grats none the less.

Pogeyan was the first rare I tamed on my main hunter. There's a quest to do with him too where you have to find his totem (he's the troll fire spirit or something) . I've seen a lot of people camping for him so I guess he's quite rare.

I never see Pogeyan like ever unless shes either dead or still up prowling around, shes a very beautiful kitty but as much as i try, i cant ever click with her A lot of people arent fans of the hunched position cause the model looks like its wearing a neck brace almost so that is a factor, but being the lowest level hunched cat, i can def see people who love the model taming and using her either because shes hunched, she looks really neat, shes rare, mix of any of those possibilities, and/or because the hunter has made a close bond. I wish i could make a bond with her ._. so pretty and shiny and she has such a warmth to her from the gold coloring... (Yes i call her a she Tsku'alu is a male to me and Mahamba... can go either way LOL) Grats on your kitty!!

He/she is a rare in the sense that it is not a common spawn. How often do people tame it? I cannot honestly say. I am only a low-level hunter myself and I personally haven't seen anyone with it, but then I have only been in Silvermoon City, Eversong Woods, Orgrimmar and the Northern Barrens.
