But elven rangers are about as far from the hunter class as gnomish riflemen. Think about it. Blood Elves shouldn't get hunters. They never tamed animals. They were practically extinct after WC3. Since we get Belf Hunters, I want some Gnoam Hunters too!

I think that has ties, once again, to Sylvanas and the forsaken dude in EPL. If you've ever quested high enough horde side; or done some specific quest concerning him, you'll know he has two green hyena's with him. And he's a ranger. So obviously on his own or inder the guidance of the elven rangers, he tamed the beasts. Belf hunters could also be explained by the fact that they tried to further distance themselves from the arcane. But lacking the ability to be more than that and probably having a higher moral point than most rogues [no offense rogues!] they turned into hunters.

That and as I said, Gnomes seem to caught up with tinkering and creating their own world and all that than to try and become a hunter or learn how to be one with the world or whatever the hell you wanna make out how/why you have a hunter. Cause as I said, most of the classes with hunter have more lore/reasoning behind it than a Gnome having the hunter class available suddenly would. I mean even Orc mages and Nelf mages have more sense, than a random gnome hunter.

Sorry but have to stand firm on this imo, that Gnomes just aren't the right sort mentally, to be hunters. i mean with how much they tinker, would their own pets even be safe..?


And @ Mania; we already do :d they're called 'Tanks' and they keep the mobs away from us.

Atleast that's how it works for Coal when he's a tree :D

The only way I'd see gnomes ever becoming hunters is them making their own pets.
