Tamed him a few hours ago but never got a chance to look at him, im keeping him despite the quirks, partially because i spent a good chunk of last night and constantly stopped my housework to check up on him today but also cause i still love his model <3

Light and his model really do not like eachother, his main body along his poofy feathered backside and his wings are all messed up

Yea Caelan said he ended up with the bug, thing is it seems to be new since she hasnt seen Zari with this bug 'bout a week ago and he was fine when one of my hunters tamed him during mid-Cata.. makes me wonder what happened

Apparently the white eagles no longer have the lighting errors, but I haven't seen one myself yet.

I noticed this on My Rekk, I still love him and get a lot of "oh my that is a pretty birdie" comments. It will get fix though like the other birds did.

Not to derail the topic any, but this isn't the first 'lighting glitch' that I've seen. My talbuks seem to have a bit of a glitch around their faces in dim or alternate color lighting.



Now, also, if we could get it to where female trolls weren't bent so far backwards on them too, I'd be a happy camper. ;D

Im thinking the glitch, which looks like its not just Zari after seeing that, came from the restart we had like what, last week? im so bad at dates.. i forget when the last restart was xP

I'm actually not sure when my Talbuks started doing it, but it's been a whiiiiiiile, at least a couple weeks. I just figured it was something that would get sorted eventually. xD

Now I'm curious as to what else might be having these glitches though.

Edit: Oop! Just checked when I re-read a comment about the other carrion birds having issues and checked on my Spiteflayer and guess what...



I just never noticed because......well.....bright freaking yellow bird. And yes....those pets are named after sins. <,< I have all but Gluttony right now. xD

As for talbuks they have been messed up ever since patch 4.2 or somewhere among that time line.

I havent ridden a talbuk in foreeeeever so i had no idea and weird.. im tempted to make a trip to kalimdor and check on some of the birds there... im gonna guess its a trend with vulture models since both 1 head and 2 headed birds have it D:

Not entirely sure about the lighting issues, but the flight animations were fixed last time I checked! Pretty sure neither of them hoverbutt anymore.

Just confirming that regular carrion birds still have the lighting glitch. Just tamed a random red one and his wings are all splotchy. >.<
