Takk the leaper

Is he a level 14 mob like wowhead says or a level 19 like petopia says :O

He was a 19 elite but I think he has been brought down to a 14 ordinary rare. Someone correct me if I am wrong though.

Ya I don't want to go out there before I am of level, but I don't want to go out when I'm over leveled.

Somewhat on topic...

I was looking for Takk's nest on my Druid earlier, flying around minding my own business. SilverDragon goes off. Oh, Takk's up. Keep flying to check for the nest when all of a sudden, FLYING RAPTOR OUT OF FREAKING NOWHERE WTF. I had no idea he did that. He lept right through me in the air and I was like "what the h-Takk!?"

Was really amusing. >>;

It makes trying to tame him rather difficult. XD He runs super fast. Makes Dart look easy.

Haha! Too true! I ran across him the other day (or is it her? She does have a nest) Anyway, I ran across her the other day and wanted to tame her, but before my Dismiss Pet was even done channeling, Takk had made a spectacular leap across the sky, like a double rainbow... while my hunter was standing there saying "So intense!!!"

I ran around looking for her, found the nest and got me a Leaping Hatchling minipet, then found Takk again and tamed her. She's really pretty.

I have found Takk before, and it is a level 14 normal rare. If I could manage to get a picture of it...I would...I think on my baby hunter, Takk jumped in front of me, and I was like, AH WHAT THE HECK...oh..
And this is probably off topic, but Leaping Hatchling jumps around when idle. It's quite amusing to watch.

Yep yep lvl 14 normal rare (i too thought he was 19 elite still till i saw him to tame), the mini-pet will scamper away and then leap to your side as part of its idle (in mention to other peoples posts) and actually Takk is now a true leaper because she actually jumps from the ground to the top of the mountain and will jump back down, it was a very annoying and aggravating game of 'you see me, now you dont' until Zexia found him for me and kept him occupied till i flew up the mountain to tame ><
