Ever get tired of looking at a pet...

~sigh~ I kind of agree. I dont use my SB much any more due to them being all over (especialy the bear though I am so in love with mine) BUT...thankfuly most the hype has worn off them and now to the newest cat and crab (I have no desire to tame but wont kill them either, have helped re-home a few crabs) My fav and thankfuly not overly tamed pet on the horde side is Sambas and Shy'R.

If you like your cats but cant look at the two you have try for a color that no one really uses...I dont think I've seen a single person with the rare Shadowpclaw but me on Zulu and I havnt seen a single lavender tiger as a pet ever on the server on either side. (thought Im sure someone has at least one on there some where...they are kind of pretty after all)

I actually kind of agree. I mean, I don't tame pets just to gloat. But I've seen so many people with Sambas that mine gets no use. Why? Not to be a special snowflake. Sure. I like Sambas. But I guess I like a pet that says, "This is Rassaa." Not "This is Rassaa who is better than you", of course. My red lynx doesn't exactly radiate power. More like "This is Rassaa, and she has a red lynx."

…That made no sense, I'm sorry. >.< My brain doesn't work today.

I get this feeling at times my own self. The pets I have, not *all* of them are just because 'I like them'. Some of them were an 'OOO SHINY!' and I might grow into them later. ... or not. I get what I like. Deth, for instance, was definitely a 'SHINY!' tame. I do love the color, but the 'shininess' is what won me over. I'm waiting to see if the bond really solidifies. I suspect, though, that my surprise-tame of Skitterflame may actually end up winning out. I just like the red color so *much*!

However, I do have to admit that some of the pets I've had, after seeing 2 or 3 dozen others, I got sick enough of them that I had to let them go. It doesn't happen *often* for me, but it does happen, for sure. Mostly, though, it's those pets I got because 'Ooo shiny', rather than 'I want so badly'.

Try not to feel guilty if it happens! Bonds come and bonds go, and they'll always be there again someday for you if you decide you want t otry again.

I use my pet regardless of what anther hunter is using because its my pet and I love it because of how I got it and the experience of getting it. Rare or not, I love my babies and I'm pretty content with all full slots at the moment.
