Well, that's good to hear. I tried a long time ago as a noob hunter with knowing NOTHING what to do...I died a lot..

I named her Shandris after Shandris Feathermoon, one of my favorite characters in lore.

Grats! My friend had to loot about 40 statues before hers spawned. That pet is a crapshoot to get to spawn! 14 was insanely lucky.

As I thought. I've heard horror stories of it going to 100s of them. The first one the guards killed, and that was at 9 statues.

I've tamed a ghost saber three times. The first two were shy of 20 attempts. The third only took six. Maybe I've just been lucky. :/

Grats! I've gotten him to spawn at that much before. I also got him to spawn once on the first shot too.

Once upon a time, when Neyaari was a baby hunter, I spawned it the very first time and had to kill it. I had gone after them at level 19, but the first to spawn was 20 and out of reach. Took awhile for one to spawn again, and thankfully it spawned at the right level. I don't have Naala anymore, but she was a great pet for the time that I had her. (Pretty sure I abandoned her because I needed more stable slots at the time, back when we only had like 5 or so. And I never retamed her )

Well... last time I was helping friend of mine lvl19 hunter to find this kitty we'd spend about 2 hours running around.
So I think 14 figurines sound's lucky :O)
I got this cat with me for all this years.
Saber was my second pet (first was cat from NE starting location) and only one from vanilla to BC to WOTLK.
And only when I got Loque were was a time for my NoaNoa to get some rest in stable :O)
Still have him till now. Will never delete this beauty, only with my only main character - hunter.

I adore my ghost saber Djinn. She'll always be my favorite cat.
Don't remember how many spawns it took... but I do remember
she was level 20 and the challenge made it more meaningful to me.

When I heard about a transparent non-BM cat, I was all in. Since I am deleting a LOT of my spirit beasts (taking a photo shoot first, will re-tame them on my baby hunter), I am delighted to hear of one I can use all the time. Spirit beasts=Too much stable slots being consumed. The only three I will keep are: Ankha, Loque, and Banny. MAYBE Magria.
