On The Hunt For a Madexx! [Found a Blue!]

Its the usual 6-17hours GL Madexx is one of my all time faves to see in the wild. Nothing is more amazing to see then a wild madexx, no matter the color ^.^

Oh, dear, yes. I LOVE seeing Madexx in the wild (no matter what color) just because he is so magnificent and imposing. He really should be much larger than the average scorpid, since he's so wonderful looking seeing him in the wild.

It's like "scorpid..scorpid...another scorpid....scorpid...giant scorpid...wait. Giant scorpid?!"

Exactly, its a surprising find, with or without NPCscan.... although NPCscan scares me every time.

In my Rehoming post, I was hunting for camel statues and NPCscan scared me and alerted me to a NElf dying to green Madexx while trying to tame it. I helped him out with a trap. The poor NElf was at 10% health. I really don't know how you can die to Madexx at all. He doesn't hit very hard, for being a ginormous scorpion. Seeing my blue, and now this green, gives me great hope for your hunt for other Madexxes. It means they're spawning in other colors more often, it seems. Maybe this week is the week of non-black Madexx?

In my Rehoming post, I was hunting for camel statues and NPCscan scared me and alerted me to a NElf dying to green Madexx while trying to tame it. I helped him out with a trap. The poor NElf was at 10% health. I really don't know how you can die to Madexx at all. He doesn't hit very hard, for being a ginormous scorpion. Seeing my blue, and now this green, gives me great hope for your hunt for other Madexxes. It means they're spawning in other colors more often, it seems. Maybe this week is the week of non-black Madexx?

I sure hope so!

I <3 black Madexx! I really do! I just don't have stable room for ALL the Madexxes in Uldum! I have a poor little red one named "Noonetamedme" because it was wandering around for a long time and no one in general wanted it, so I tamed it. At the time, I had no Madexx at all and was, like Serenith, hoping for blue or green, but tamed Mister Red anyway. He's still with me today. I feel bad when I see Black Madexx up and no one wants him. Odds are he's going to end up dead.

Nothing wrong with black Madexx! My bf tamed him a while back, possibly a month into the expansion. I was so happy for him cause I thought he was an awesome looking scorpion. He was pretty mad when they introduced the common mob cause he said it felt less special. Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with it cause of the common skins... it is a real Madexx after all. But it seems he spawns more according to some people, and since he is not the color I want... maybe he should take a brief vacation till I tame a green (or blue) one.

And I really really REALLY like the little red one. I don't want to abandon him, but it doesn't seem they will ever allow us an option of heirloom pets or even gifting pets. I would LOVE to give Serenith that red Madexx when she is of the right level, but I can't... so its kinda sad. *cries for her red Madexx* Its not your fault little guy! (Really I would be happy with him if I wasn't so damn OCD about my draenei's pets!)

Maybe she was stripping for Madexx? I dunno. Madexx apparently didn't find that amusing. He was gonna have her for supper. XD

So about 120 savage leather and two pristine hides from skinning the nearby scorpions and still no sign of a Madexx (camped about 6 hours today)... at least I'm being productive!

Still no green/blue Madexx... or any Madexx at all. I really don't want to drive myself insane here, so for now I will enjoy my little red Madexx I tamed from he other day and quest for a bit. I probably I will be getting my account back maybe in a week or two.... I kinda want to have game time for Brewfest.

So now that I finished my dailies and spent some time with Mr. Red Madexx I can safely say the red Madexx was not meant for me, or rather not meant for Neyaari. They didn't exactly click, even though I like the red a lot. I tamed a common bronze skin and found that one works very nicely. Its not a real Madexx, but it "fits" better than the red one does, rare doesn't really matter to me, color and style does. I will still be keeping an eye out for a green or blue (and I wouldn't mind a bronze Madexx if I saw it), but for now I have a little wannabe that works better than the real one I have. Seriously wish I could gift the red Madexx to Serenith *sighs*

Black Madexx spawned in today at 9:00pm.... Been watching him for about 10 minutes now, wishing he was a green/blue/bronze one *sighs*

Edit:
After 14 minutes a draenei hunter came along and tamed him.

I could NEVER get into black Madexx. I had him tamed for awhile, for there was nothing special at all about him to me. His eyes are yellow, but they just don't seem to have that same real-gold look to them like bronze Madexx does. At the time, bronze was common and black was one of the 4 without any commons, so people wanted him. I just couldn't connect to black and ended up abandoning him.

Well I hope that dreanei hunter that tamed him will love him. He is a Madexx, and still pretty. Had I really wanted that model I would have tamed one of the commons back when they came out, but I personally don't think it looks right with my draenei. But he looks nice with the draenei who did tame him

She was the pure white variety with the face that has the very very blackish lips, so the contrast between her and the black Madexx was pretty actually.

I mean, all the colors would look nice with her, considering she is white. But my draenei on the other had, not the same story, she has blue skin and dark greenish hair. Lol
