I was very inspired the other day when I stumbled across some Steampunk webpages on my search for a suitable name for Skapp's ravager (who is now Tesla), as I've always loved that genre. I've decided that a Steampunk-ish type of persona would be very suitable for her, especially with her Alchemy and Engineering skills (she also loves combining the two 
)She's already Survival, which imo definitely suits the style (heck she probably makes the immolation oil or whatever explosive for her own Explosive Shots), but now I'm looking for pets to suit her. I'm going for anything mechanical-like, because Skapp's a big fan of that kind of stuff, and because one of her side hobbies (besides serving the Banshee Queen Sylvanas, and trying to find a cure for undeath, which fascinates her) is seeking to "design" the perfect pet. Basically she feels true beasts, while loyal companions, will never achieve the true perfection that machines can. Of course she'll probably learn along the way why true beasts are superior, but anyway so far I've got...
Of course it's gonna take alot more pets than this to fill her stable, and these choices are somewhat tank-heavy and lacking in ferocity/cunning. They don't have to look so dramatically robotic, even pets that merely look like they've been experimented upon by engineering/alchemy would probably suit Skapp. It kinda stinks that I had so many ideas and suggestions for her pets and then boom, her roleplay persona expanded to disinclude most of those

I think the Outland model could pass as a bit mecha
Nether rays could sort of look metallic in their own way
Bit of a stretch, but the glowing eyes and dark body colour could be imagined to be made of metal

I think he looks like he could be made out of fire and metal

the metal collar and glowing eyes could lend credence to being a construct
the natural plating could look fairly robotic
-Not only am I a sucker and huge advocate of this chimaera skin, I feel it perfectly suiting to your goblin because it's the color of GOLD. 
-Again, I know you're SV right now, but if you happen to choose BM later on, Skoll could be a good match because he's got a bunch of electricity running all over his body. He could easily be a pet on the fritz. 
would look better with your hunter and her theme. Not only are this ones colors more similar to your goblin's, it's also a little bit more gem-like and looks as if it may have been pieced together with jewels or something.

-This guy is a little bit of a stretch, but the silver could easily be metallic and the nice red wings a sort of fiery effect.
-I definitely agree that one of these guys could be passed off as a metallic creation.
-Any one of the fire spiders would be well-fitted to your goblin, imo.
-I think you could get away with saying that the runes on these dogs' bodies are actually used to make the creature function.
-Very metallic looking; extremely beautiful in game. 
-I know it's not metallic, but I have an experimental goblin hunter myself and my story for this guy is that he was once a plain old, curious wolf puppy that wandered too close to Zyllix as she was performing an experiment. As a result, the experiment mutated the wolf and left him permanently damaged, despite all of the healing Zyllix attempted to give him. Even through this ordeal, he chose to stay at Zyllix's side as a loyal companion.
