Favorite Madexx color?

I'm glad only one person has voted that they don't like Madexx so far. He's such a cute little scorpid. I now have all his colors tamed except black, which I really have no interest in. Just never clicked for me. Bronze seems to go best with my orc hunter, even though she is green. The gold eyes and coppery skintone really compliments her armor and bright green skin.

It warms my heart to hear other people like bronze Madexx. He really is quite pretty if you give him a chance!

Because having to kill him every single day for weeks makes you hate that particular pet model. Haha. And waiting...and waiting....for the slooooow ass crimson lasher to suck up his "scorpid juice" (ew) makes it worse. At least he gives a nice amount of leather when skinned.

For that quest, I always just keep one scorpion trapped until it has spawned enough pools, then feign death.

LOL. That is a great idea. I do make gold from all the skins I get killing them, but it will save time doing it that way. Unless the scorpid is stubborn and takes forever to spawn the pools.

The pool casting timer seems very consistent. I do have to renew the trap a couple of times, but I'd think that it's still faster than hunting down multiple scorps.

Um. All of them. My worgen hunter will have the colors Novi does not. I just like all of them. Madexx is one stylin' scorpid.

In all seriousness though, meh. Just not into that model. I like the old school ones a lot better, really. Much prettier colors, like the silver. That silver is a real beaut. Madexx is just...eh to me. I don't feel any need to sit there and want him or camp him. He's just another scorpid.

If I were forced to choose a color at pain of death, it would likely be bronze. Bronze is usually rather unwanted, due to his common companion a bit away, but still. I think he's pretty cool in that skin. And I'm a fan of rooting for the underdog, so to speak, I guess.

For me, it's red. It was the colour I wanted most, and the one that appeals to me personally. I ended up only ever seeing red and green Madexxes (and one dead bronze), and at one stage had three red Madexxes on three different hunters. Only one of these remain now (on Lazuli), Mozag has a green, and I realised that the model wasn't right for Lomelinda and went ahead and tamed a normal pink scorpid for her. Eventually I'll go for a bronze, green and black. When the hunters are at appropriate level.

My order:

1. Red
2. Blue
3. Black
4. Bronze
5. Green

I am not a huge fan of the Scorpids, but I do like Madexx quit a bit.

For my own color preferences:

1. Blue - I love the glowing blue eyes, the paler 'spots' on the body, and I like the most muted accents of bronze.

2. Red - the vivid purple eyes and highlights go nicely with the strong, darker red and black.

3. Green - I'm a sucker for green, but I'm not super fond of the purple highlights on it for some reason.

4. Bronze - I love the bronze and black combo, but I'm not real fond of the odd glowing greenish tips.

5. Black - the shading is nice, but I've never been a huge fan of black pets. Not really sure why, I think just because black and white are 'the' colors to have and I enjoy standing out a bit. Also, for the black, his 'spots' are so muted, it makes me a little sad.

Green used to be my must-have-right-now pet, until I saw blue and knew I had to have him. Green is still my precious, but blue was the one I hunted for so long. Strangely, a recently tamed bronze one is actually my second favorite color. I actually ADORE the golden eyes and the unique green tips on his mouth pincers and tail. He actually looks like a real scorpion (a poisonous one) and thats pretty damn awesome.

Every time I think I want to renew my subscription two things hit me.... One would be I would still want the Green Madexx, and the other thing would be me wanting the new pets that most of everyone else wants... and no room in my stables and not wanting to dump anything...

I am so confused... I miss a lot about the game itself, and I miss the people I use to talk to... really, really unsure if I should even try to come back because of the bitterness I have towards the Green Madexx and the fact that NO PET that I had wanted ever eluded me for as long as the scorpion did...

Even if I decided to come back I wouldn't know which color Madexx to keep in order to dump the other three and go after the new (to me) rares that I like the looks of...

Even now... months later... talking about the Green Madexx still gives me a headache and I am starting to feel queasy. :/

The whole not knowing which pets to drop to get new pets isn't that big of deal considering some pets are now common (that one wasp queen) and I heard that the small fast beetle is no longer small .... and I don't REALLY need 4 Madexxs...

And I do have a lot of other alts to play... and even a couple of hunters... and even a hunter on Moon Guard, I heard.

Let me think about it for a couple of days.

If I could give you the green madexx Jessi once had or the one Talu has now, I would in a heartbeat.

And yeah. I bumped most of my madexxes. Talu has green. Jessi now only has the red one. Lisaara has the blue one. You might inspire me to play jessi again some more. x3 I could help you on the molten front. I got connections, yo! Besides...while madexx isnt around....you could get his mean green equivalent, Kirix. XD Big old greenie spider of doom!

And you're right. small beetle isnt small. wasp queen isnt giant anymore. You missed the fire pet but theres only glitch pets out there you could try.
