Recurrant Rares

[Lovelle]

Hi guys!

I was just wondering if any of your own commonly found or "recurrent" rare. These are ones that are almost always there when you check - and not necessarily the low level, fast spawning rares of the old world.

Lovelle seems to have a very close bond with Skoll. I'm not sure if he's come to trust her from her time spent in Storm Peaks, hunting the elusive Time Lost Proto drake, or if it's just a natural wolf bond, but he is almost ALWAYS there. The familiar blue coat always catches my eye - sometimes I try to rehome him, others I just let him be. I've seen him 7 times in Lovelle's lifetime.

Daxx's bonded appears to be Jadefang. She has shown herself FIVE TIMES in the past 3 days. It seems everytime Daxx flies over, she's up. Could be the fact that Daxx could not get to Jadefang, as she did not have the proper rep for Ricket's Tickers... But it sure prompted me to get Daxx going on that Therazane rep. Once I was able to reach the platform, I only had to wait a few uncontested hours before Jadefang came out to play. Then again, 10 hours later I log in to check mail and she is up AGAIN! Now Daxx has Jadefang and the shale spiderling.

Kyriena has yet to reach appropriate level to test this - I am excited to see which rare will try to follow her home...

Arisia seems to have this problem with Loque'nahak. Personally, and this is admittedly, this might be just me, but I *cannot stand* the way the legs work on this model, so, even though I love the markings and color, I refuse to tame it for her. I tried once... got rid of it in 2 days.... a few months later, after rehoming NINE of them, and just plain seeing it seven more of them, I landed, looking for Krush and walked right into Loque. I tried walking away, and the darn thing followed... so Arisia tamed and we tried again. Nope, the legs just really really annoy me...

Since I finally tamed Krush, I now just avoid the area so Loque can annoy someone else. ;D

Oh yes, definitely. I've had a variety of rares stalking me at times. Sometimes, I give up and they end up getting tamed. Sometimes, they even end up staying! Like Leo the lucky Sambas.... Skoll and I have a good relationship; every time I've found him, he's lived to be rehomed....and after he spawned in the same location on both Dethecus and Nesingwary, I gave up on resisting my dream stalker and tamed him on Kallimon as Mojo. Loque kept finding me randomly; he eventually won me over after years of subtle bonding and is my Hippomenes. Magria's been stalking me for a while as well and is currently with me as Circe.....

I...don't think I am doing very well at resisting their calls anymore. -_-

I think Jadefang is deturmened to be in my stables on my hordie, Laughingwolf. Ever since first questing in that area I have seen him 15 times. Re-homed him 4 of those times and felt horrible when I tried to re-home him another time to find out the person wanted the vany pet he drops when killed and another time trying to help someone get up there had him die on us....still not sure what happend, was a BAD day for lag so might have been totaly my fault not sure but thankfuly they got him the next day.

Yes! Definitely. Deth'tilac is up nearly every time I zone into the front, I've seen him 16 times. Maybe he likes me after I camped two months to finally get him.. :3

I've also seen Madexx 13 times, he/she's always there clacking the little claws when I fly over Uldum.

Deth'tilac. So much Deth'tilac. Oh, and Skarr for some reason. Lately, he's been up every time I went over there. No little gem crab, but the kitty is there.

Id say its.. Solix, Kirix and Deth tilac.. used to see them everyday atleast one if not all. Been busy leveling a new hunter so havent been in the front in a few days, and Sas is camping tlpd so shes busy to

speaking of which I see Skoll alot to. I just stare thinking why not TLPD.. then give him a hug and am on my way.

Gondria always had a habit of stalking me. I swear everytime I go to Zul'drak for whatever reason she's just prowling away there. In fact! I recently came across her while leveling my Warlock. She and I had a 10 minute glaring contest until a random hunter flew down and finally tamed her.

Other stalking rares include Solix, Kirix, Skarr and a couple of other none tameable rares.

I find Karoma A LOT. As well as Gondria....I seem to now have a nack for Madexx too.

For me this would be ban'thalos. I have him on all 3 85 hunters, and have re homed him several times. I'm thinking of taking out a restraining order.

For me its Skarr. I have seen him way too many times. Probably going on the 14th spotting, and yet only one Karkin spotting, so please Skarr leave me alone!

I ALWAYS find Loque and Karoma ._.

Sad thing is, I ALWAYS have an issue finding homes for them - theres no BM hunters on KT, not even second spec -.-" Even lvlling hunters avoid BM spec.......

I spent like 30 mins trying to rehome Karoma the other day

Hm.

Some days I'll just meander around NR to see if anything nifty is up. Gondria is typically up for me, and I had tamed her twice under the same name, but just couldn't keep her. Finally, I decided I was going to level my hunter and wanted a SB for the heal. So I would prowl NR and promised myself to tame whoever was up.

Arcturis called my bluff, I rehomed him, because I hate that bear. :\ From there, I lazily went about. Skoll, not surprisingly, wasn't up. Skoll is never up for me. Loque was also, oddly not up. Must've been bitter last time I killed him. Thus, I kept going. Finally saw Gondria one day and took her for the last time, and she stuck.

Edit: And the only Cata rare I've ever seen, Terrorpene, was up this morning. No hunters were about to rehome him, so I decided to see if the Burning Hatred was really all that bad. Let's just say, holy crow, he packs a wallop, and the smell of burning fur is not nice at all.

I am this way with Arcturis. My first encounter with Arcturis took a long time, but since then I run into him almost every time I go through Grizzly Hills. Granted, I dont fly through Grizz that often, maybe that is skewing my perception.

However everytime I see it, or any rare I just happen upon that I like, I have to throttle that knee-jerk ZOMG TAME NAOW reaction I get.

Kirix…. Kirix stalks me. That's not unexpected, though, people typically just leave him alone until someone brave or stupid try to tame/kill him. One time I saw him he was up for a half hour before there was a sudden Hunter Swarm. Last time I went, he was running in his random arcs and there was absolutely no-one around, to I tamed him "for lolz". I wasn't lolzing much once I fell off the cliff twice and got smashed at least twice as well.

In the past 2 weeks, its been Gondria. She's up every time I go to Northrend to check out the rares there. No other rare is ever up. No Skoll, no Loque, no Arcturis, Aotona, Krush (except that time he was killed by Nesingwary, the bastard)...JUST Gondria. Half the time I can never find anyone to tame her and just leave her to whatever fate she happens to find (death, later tame, stalking me the next day I check NR, whatever).

For me, it's Deht'tilac, Kirix and Karkin. Nearly everyday, there's a crabby on the rock! And Ban'thalos aswell. I just can't resist not trying to rehome them. *sigh* Maybe I should ban myself from entering Hyjal so I can get sleep earlier :-p
