Which 5 in call pet?

i usually end up rotating them based on what I feel like.

At the moment it's
1. Dax (Mazzaranche) - first pet still with me
2. Aragog (Anthriss)
3. Torranche (Strider Clutchmother)
4. Slix (Solix)
5. Spider (Deth'tilac - still unnamed)

Like several others here, I keep four in my slots in case I run across something I want to tame.

I nearly always have my ghost saber, Djinn, with me -- unless some other cat is my current flavor of the week.

I usually have a tank pet, either my bear Fardels or beetle Sunny.

After that it is really variable, depending on what new pet I have, or ones I missed and brought back out. Lately I've had my trick-tamed "dead" rhino in my slots, for lols. Around Orgrimmar, I might have my wasp Serenity if I have been displaying my Firefly companion pet, as they make a nice matched set.

Normally: Cat, wolf, an empty spot in case I run into something really cool, spider, & turtle.
I picked up a BM spec yesterday so now it's: Cat, Arcturis!, empty spot for Skoll when I run into him, spider, & turtle.

I'm Marksman for the most part, so these are my usual pets:
Cat - Phoenix (Springpaw Stalker) or Titan (Skarr)
Wolf - Noir (Oil-stained wolf)
Ravager - xpyred (Death Ravager, named after a guildie xD)
Carrion Bird - Bones (Spiteflayer)

When I go Beast Mastery, I have these pets out:
Devilsaur - Deimos (Tyrant Devilsaur! <3)
Spirit Beast - Aurora/Mirage *needs a new name*/Tundra (Magria, Banny, Loque)
Chimera - Bijou (Nuramoc)
Scorpid/Crab/Turtle - Scamp, Pinchy, toasty (Blue Madexx, Karkin, and Terrorpene, though I'll likely be abandoning Terror..)

1 Hahadori (Tallstrider) Always in first slot!
2 Ackee (Cat) or Lesedi (Spirit Beast) Depends if I'm BM or not at the time.
3 Dziko (Worm) usually, but can be Timu (Turtle) for "extreme" soloing
4 Random
5 Empty

Dungeons -
1 Hahadori (Tallstrider)
2 Ackee (Cat)
3 Ikinaji (Wolf)
4 Kianga (Wind Serpent)
5 Vakasa (Ravager) usually, but can also be Bomani (Core Hound) or Hayawaza (Raptor)

For me because I am often spec'd MM, I always have for dungeons:
Shandris- My main companion. Ghost Saber. Tamed her because I felt I needed a new cat, and I didn't really like the rares. She's named after one of my favorite Lore Characters.
Morrigan- Named after a Celtic Goddess of Ravens, Fate, and Death, she is my prized pet. She is a blue madexx, and I would never trade her ever. Not even for all the rares in Molten Front If the tank dies, Morrigan comes out.
Anthriss- Well...yeah...The yellow spider was saved from horde, and I love her. I personally don't care what skin she is, she's mine. If a DPS dies (preferably melee), Anthriss comes out.

If I am soloing, or just being me, I often run BM, or switch out my pets:
Shandris- Always have this pet at my side. She hasn't left my side ever since I tamed her.
Onyx- Not an original name, but this is my Karkin. The tame was stressful, but I love her either way. She has always been at my side since that tame.
Calamus- Kirix. He, too, may not be 'Unique' but personally, he is still that loveable poisonous spider of doom. I often don't pull him out, but sometimes I do.

I keep the last two stable slots for that 'Awesome pet that I bond with' and a hydra willing that blizz makes them tameable. (When they do, I am camping purple hydra RIGHT THEN)
