Deimos
Deimos is one of my favorites. This guy called to me when I saw his skin on petopia. I'd never actually seen anyone with an orange devilsaur since everyone uses the white/black/green skins, and I immediately went out to Un'Goro in search of an orange dino. An hour had passed before I stumbled upon a Tyrant Devilsaur (after finding several white devilsaurs first, of course) and was completely enamored with him. I tamed him and wasn't sure what I should call him. I referred to the Name That Pet index and saw Deimos - which means "terror" in Greek? I can't remember the origination of the name. I absolutely loved that and immediately decided to call him such.
Bijou
Ahh, Nuramoc. Always eluding me, always hiding from me. Not anymore! Once a day, I took a break from my Aeonaxx camp to look for Nura. I did so before I started the camp and finally I managed to find her after what seemed like a year. I wanted to call her "Amethyst" or "Jewel," but those were a little boring so I found "Bijou" which means jewel - but it's in French and sounds prettier.

Bones
Bones. My new pride and joy. No, the name is not creative in any sense of the word compared to something else I could've come up with, but Britany and Bones sounded very "right" to me and I had to name him that. I found him after a raid when I went to Blasted Lands just to see if he was up...I love his skin! A couple minutes later, he spawned and I was taken by surprise since I'd never seen him before (and I've been in Blasted Lands many times). I use him constantly and he's my sidekick these days, along with Phoenix the cat.
Tallstrider (unnamed)
I never had much of an attraction to tallstriders. But after the glitched fire pets were fixed, I looked at the tallstrider that it had morphed into and almost kept him. It was actually kind of pretty. Still, I felt as if he needed to be remembered as "my flame pet" and not "my tallstrider," so I released him into the wild (aka abandoned him in Deepholm...hope he's doing okay

Skitterflame (unnamed spider)
Skitterflame. The spider I always thought was beautiful. I already have Deth'tilac, and I don't want to fill up my stables with spiders again, so I abandoned Kirix and Solix and promised myself that I'd ignore Skitter. Once, my guildmate showed him to me because he was up, and I attempted to tame him for the lulz. The guildie thought we were killing him and, well, Skitter went bye-bye. Ever since then, I've had this recurring thought of taming him. I helped my other guildie tame him the next time I saw him up, and the thought played in my mind more and more.
Finally, I got so sick of Deepholm tonight that I went off to the Molten Front and eagle eye'd over to Skitter's spot as soon as I ported him and I hear NPCscan go "BLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAARRJGHJHDLKDSF" extra loud because both Kirix and Skitter were up (I swear, I see Kirix every time I'm in MF). Then, I noticed a hunter trying and failing at taming him so I ran over as fast as I could. Then I remembered the jumping rocks. Oh, how I hated those rocks. I fell off the very last rock and died because I never do my dailies and no druid could save me.
Luckily, I was close enough to Fireplume Peak so that I could rez there. It seemed like I couldn't find my body fast enough. I finally did, so then I mounted up and booked it. Skitterflame was still there waiting patiently. But I couldn't get up on to his ledge! The stupid air vents were defective or something. Finally, I got up there with 2 elementals coming after me. I feigned death and noticed the hunter was trying again. I gave the hunter another go and he died about 2 seconds later. So, he watched me (he hadn't released spirit yet) as I used Scare Beast and tamed Skitter. It went as smooth as it could. I was so happy.
I decided that it was fine to have 2 spiders in my stable, as long as I love them both. So, I plan on keeping little Skitter even though I haven't even named him yet. The other hunter ended up getting Kirix 2 minutes later, so everyone was happy.
And that, my friends, is all about my brand new pets.
