Do I need more people to help me get through to Chro? For example: a healer or mage? And I forgot to mention we didn't get past the first boss as we didn't know the tacts but I was wondering if it would be successful if we tried the tactics tomorrow. All help is appreciated.

Chromaggus?
I was wondering what's the best way to tame Chromaggus? I'm an 85 night elf hunter and tried today with my friends. (An 85 druid/warlock and an 83 dk) it was a rough shot. Do

Re: Chromaggus?
All you need to do is get past the first boss. Everything past that is very easy. Here is what I did:
-Find someone to MC Razorgore. In my case, it was me.
-Make SURE you keep all adds off of Razorgore and the person who was MCing Razorgore. If Razorgore dies, you die. If you get hit, MC breaks. You will also have a debuff for the remaining time.
-Make sure ALL eggs die. If you leave one, you cant kill Razorgore.
-After the eggs get killed, you can now fight Razorgore.
Hope this helps!

Re: Chromaggus?
Easy as pie as long as you know a little bit.
First boss:
1. Really, REALLY helps to have a healer. You run up and grab the MC orb for Razorgore and start smashing those eggs. The healer doesn't touch the adds - instead, the healer spams heals on himself. This will aggro all the adds as they spawn.
2. Just continue that. You'll eventually kill all the eggs. Nuke the boss and move on.
Second boss:
1. DPS race to the extreme. He casts "Burning adrenaline" on a player and it WILL kill you, so you need to kill him before he casts that twice.
The rest of it is pie up to one of the bosses… Oh shoot, which is it. >.< It's one of the dragons. He casts something like "Shadow of Ebonroc" (I think it's Ebonroc) and that means that the longer he has aggro on that target, the more he gets healed. So you need to aggro-juggle him.
Chrommy is easy to tame, though. Just pull and smack tame.

Re: Chromaggus?
You can do it with just yourself and a healer, extra DPS make the whole thing easier and faster. But it's doable with just 2 people.
-Razorgore - Keep using the orb to control the boss to destroy eggs while someone else keeps mobs from attacking the person using the orb and Razorgore.
-Every other boss or trash pull you can just burn down, you don't need to worry about boss mechanics any more unless you're trying to do the tame at level 69 like I did.
Chromaggus - Shoot him a few times to get threat, then pop deterrence and tame him. Have the healer spam dispels on you. Use Hourglass Sand (drop from goblins in the rooms before Chromaggus) if you get the bronze debuff, it will stun you. Bringing someone with heroism or using a trash corehound you can abandon to speed up the tame wouldn't hurt.

how to solo razorgore

if you bring friends, just have one person MC razorgore, then everyone else just kill the adds

Re: Chromaggus?
It's possible, I've done it twice now for my two hunters just to get Chromaggus. However, it is a *royal* bitch to do. For me, I did everything in the video as stated, but most of the time, additional adds would spawn anyways even though I followed the steps as layed out in the video / post you'll find in Nightsight's post above. For the first hunter, it took hours to finally get the glitch to go my way, but the second hunter got it after only 30 minutes and a few wipes. Also on the second hunter's attempt, I only had to cause the adds to despawn once instead of twice like the guide suggests. I don't know why, it just worked out that way. I had the Mind Control guy beating on me for most of it, so that may of been the reason. I managed to survive his beatings, though, because I would run Razorgore to the farthest part of the room when MC was about to break (would leave me unable to MC again for 16 seconds give or take), pull out my spirit beast and use his spirit mend on me when MC broke, then dismissed him ASAP and do my best to make Razorgore path around long enough to regain control of the orb.BigRedPuppy wrote:Had no idea Razorgore was soloable, mechanics told me it wasn't possible xD

Re: Chromaggus?
I got Chromaggus along with my fiance in group. We had decided to do the achievment and had no clue what to do, after a few fails in the first room, we looked up the mechanics and I killed the mobs while my fiance had the boss in MC. My fiance took his druid with him, so we were hunter and druid. The next bosses were easy going, after a wipe at the dragon with the "heal buff" - we just couldn't kill him because my pet wouldn't get aggro once it lost it, we just camouflaged/stealthed around the dragons. Then I called Chromaggus, hit tame and he was mine. No hysteria, nothing, just tame and he was mine. We then did the final boss (forgot his name, stupid dragon), again having no clue what to do. So here it is: Stupid dragon destroys your weapon so you can't use it anymore. We were facing an angry dragon, a healdruid, a weaponless hunter and a pet. So my pet had to be the tank and dps in this fight and I tried my luck with hitting him with my staff *lol*. In times like these I'm SO glad to be a BM, so my pet does make good damage and crits "Fass" (don't know the english term) with 35k. We eventually killed angry dragon and got our achievment - so if you want to make the achievment after getting Chromaggus, take either a rep-bot with you or take some more weapons

Its acually alot more profitable to do this place solo cause the gold is still good and BWL is a gold mine for kick ass looken items for transmogrification like T2 armor and the sweetest looken gun in the game the Dragonbreath Hand Cannon

Yea but if ya solo it you dont have to split up the gold and its actually a good amount for the time u put into it, plus you can sell the Elementium Ignot for around 400g to 800g each and i get on average 2 to 5 each run

Does ilvl matter (a lot) here, or is it enough just to be 85 & know the technique?Sigrah wrote:It's possible, I've done it twice now for my two hunters just to get Chromaggus. Re: Chromaggus?
90% of soloing Razorgore is knowing the techniques, patience, survivability, and luck. However, DPS is going to matter on the boss that comes after him, so you're going to want the highest iLevel possible for him if nothing else.Worba wrote:Does ilvl matter (a lot) here, or is it enough just to be 85 & know the technique?

Re: Chromaggus?
Petopians did a run for Chromaggus last night, 3 85 hunters and 1 69 hunter (the one wanting the pet), with 3 85s it's not too bad. The only problem we really ran into was that afterward we went to kill Nefarian and two of us had our bows break by then. We ended up stabbing him to death with polearms.

What annoyed me in particular is that I used to do that. Stopped in Cata because I thought it would be pointless 'cause it doesn't scale past 80.

It's an easy tame. To tame mine, I just stood there and tamed XD
But yeah, you need friends to pass the first boss-event, it's a pain >.< I went with my husband (Dk tank) and a friend (MM hunter). Wasn't easy but not hard either!
Good luck
Someone told me that pet was awesome. And others tell me "Omg so ugly!" XD
