The adventures of Emilliy Macmillan, the reptile hunter.

Ever since she was a little girl, Emilliy was the one who liked playing with lizards and turtles around the local ponds. Sure, she liked it when the barn cats had kittens, and she played with the neighbors' puppies before they were given away as the prime hunting dogs that they were, but her heart always went out to the scaly things that only boys seem to like - especially since their kind of liking seemed to involve making the lizards drop their tails or carving initials into turtle shells. She'd helped save turtles from that fate. The lizards tended to save themselves. But she knew that someday, she was going to walk the world with one of those creatures at her side, and she was going to see it happen no matter what it took.

I finally got my reptile hunter up to level fourteen! This meant that she had to go through the indignity of being stripped naked so being killed numerous times through Duskwood and STV wouldn't cost her repair money she didn't have. And after a boat ride over to Ratchet, success! Emilliy has her first two reptiles!

Meet Max:



Max is an Oasis Snapjaw, and Emilliy found him past some centaurs just out of Ratchet. The first thing he did was save her from a Kolkar Pack Runner and his dogs. He is definitely a maximum turtle.

And here's Lurker:



Lurker wasn't far inside the entry cave to Wailing Caverns. He was just like a figment waiting there, so Emilliy had to have him. She and Lurker still aren't sure of each other, though. Time will tell how these two get along.

That was an IC story about Emilliy - sorry about the confusion! I wanted to give her some backstory for why she loves the scaly things so much. And thank you!

Awesome! I just knew that I hadn't been giving the reptiles the love they were due. My two "main" hunters are mostly focused on mammals. That's why I started both my reptile hunter and my bug hunter - to make myself give these pets I didn't even think about before a real chance.

Today was a big day for Emilliy. While in Wailing Caverns, she found a new friend - and with no small satisfaction. She tamed one of the Deviate Adders to use against their twisted druid masters.

Only after they left the cavern did she decide on a name for him. Jason. Then she and Jason went to the Eastvale Logging Camp to pick out a horse! The hard part was finding a horse that could stand being around a snake as big as Jason.

But Emilliy's heard rumours of a very powerful turtle lurking off to the west of Ashenvale. She might have to look into that...
