Mount Questions

Question one: How do you start getting rep with The Oracles (they sell the egg) I went over to sholazar and none of them had quests. is it apart of a quest chain?

Question Two: is it still possible to get the blue drake? It says you need to get the occulus on dungeon finder but its not there. o_O

Also, I'm interested in how long it took people to find Poseidus and any info about the mount. I've looked for it continuously for months but don't really know much about it. Apart from that its a seahorse.

if you kill pitch in schola one of the little wolvar will give you a quest and that starts the long chain.

For the blue drake if you cant queue for random LK heroics then the only way to get it is from EoE.

poseidus i have no idea.

If you have a tanking character you can also get the Blue Drake from the Satchel of Exotic Mysteries.

1) Yeah, as above. Kill Pitch and follow that chain, eventually you will kill a Lich boss and get to pick sides between Wolvar and Oracles, take Oracles.

2) Queue for random Lich King heroic and hope for Oculus, but that only works if you are level 80-81ish. Otherwise you will have to kill Malygos (drops on ten man, not sure about 25, but 10 man is easier anyway), a Level 80 raid boss that can be soloed if you are pro and easily 5 manned.

3) He spawns in Vash'jir, has 5 spawn points, 1 in Abyssal Depths and 4 in Shimmering Expanse. His spawn window only starts after 72 hours from a server reset (so basically until 72 hours after a reset he has a 0% chance of spawning, past that he has as much chance as any other Cata world boss).

The blue drake only drops in the H Oc if you queue for it. I remmber they did that so people would stop leaveing it!

they must of changed it then cause i know when i would get it, i had to get it from getting heroic Occ from random duengon finder

Thanks everyone. I looked up the Blue Drake on WoW mounts and it says you have to get it by queuing. I can't remember it even showing up on the dungeon finder as heroic when I was level 80 anyway, lol.

Blizzard stated that they changed the Blue Drake back so it now drops from EoE again.

BOTH the unarmored blue and the armored blue dragons drop from Malygos (EoE) 10 man, which can be done with four people easily. However, it's not a 100% drop chance, and the armored one in particular has a truly awful drop chance.

Poseidus is evil and has a VERY long spawn time with lots of distant spawn points. I got him through pure dumb luck.

It's really annoying I didn't know about his Abyssal depths spawn point . I might of missed him loads of times. >_<
