Polar Bear Daily issue.

So i've only done the dailies for the Polar Bear 6 or 7 times and the day before yesterday I go to Gretta to pick up another and what's this? No blue ! above her head?

When I talk to her she says her usual guff and no option for a quest.

WTF? I had not reached my daily limit. I've been doing the same dailies every day for the past few days and it certainly fits in. I exit and re-enter the area and still no dice. I've not had a chance to check again due to severe lag issues from using my own computer who does not have a wifi card... stupid, rubbish dongle.

I am making this thread to see if anyone else is having problems with this Daily or any other for that matter. If it belongs somewhere else then I apologise.

I really hate that yeti cheese now.

Some dailies require 'unlocking', in the sense that you had to have done the normal quest in the village before you can accept the daily from her if it shows up there. Make sure you have done all the quests in the village and you shouldnt have any more issues.

From the way I read this, they have already been doing the daily so there is no reason that it has quit letting them do it. I know at one time, we were having the issue with transforming and when you would land, everyone would be in red to you. You'd have to land, log out, and log back in to get them friendly so you could pick up the quest. If you logged out hovering on a flying mount over the village, when you logged back in, you were on a down spiral to your death because it dismounted you. They said the issue was with the flying mounts. As far as I can tell, they have fixed that issue. I'd put a ticket in for it and see what Blizz tells you the problem is!

One of the quests offered bugs out the questgiver, as I recall. It was like this in LK as well. It sucks, but that's probably it.

Unless you haven't done the quest chains in the SW part of the zone with the val'kyr chicks. THEN you need to do those first to unlock the associated daily with the eggs.

^ I remember freaking out because I couldn't do the daily on my druid then saw I hadn't done a couple quests inside one of the buildings. Once I had finished them I was able to get my daily.
If you've already finished all of them then idk lol.

each daily has a corresponding quest (or chain) that you have to do to unlock it, and none of them are related. so you can def be able to do most of them and then miss a day because you hadn't finished the chain that went with that day's daily yet. i know i went forever with one of them being unavailable until i just grit my teeth and finished the stupid quest haha.

Thanks for the replies I did all the quests for that area ages ago and i've had no problem with the dailies until then. I don't know whether or not another quest had popped up somewhere but I certainly wasn't expecting one seeing as the dailies had been working fine for the week I had been doing them.

However it seems to have sorted itself out and I got some delicious mountain water early this morning!

That Gretta really knows how to treat us for our efforts. -_-

Anyway i'm glad it isn't permanent! Thanks again!
