Also listing the four new Horde PvP wolf mount skins. This model has a unique new look. Unfortunately without the armour it's missing important pieces, like its ears and slices of its legs and tail. However I've chosen to depict it without the armour so you can actually see the fur better and get an idea of what it might look like with the bits filled in. Maybe Blizzard will develop a version without the armour.
The skin names seem to bear no relationship to the actual colour of the skin. Very weird.

Got some shots of the unused darkhound skin called "DarkHoundSkin" with the proper alpha channel, so the mane looks right. The current skin is missing part of the alpha channel so the mane looks blocky. I corrected it by copying the proper alpha from another dark hound skin....
Ooh, that Darkhound skin is really lovely now that it can be seen properly. Love the contrasting red eyes. I hope he makes it into game at some point. ^^

Yeah, so do I It's a bit different to the other darkhounds. The musculature is way more defined, and it has no fur on its feet or lower back. Compare it with the normal grey skin (2nd pic):

Adding some skins found on bear mount models. All can be applied to the regular bear model. One actually has no harness straps on it and could be used on a wild bear right now if it was copied over. The rest have some straps on their skins but hopefully the art team does have versions without.
That Northrend light brown bear skin (pic 4) looks really creepy though...

Wow, the lvl of detail that is actually under the northrend bear models armor (goggles/etc) is quite amazing.
The teeth, the nose, the eyes, the gums all have a higher lvl of detail compared to the original models. They dont really seem to look like they are a larger sized (512x512) skin file size either. And as much as the opaque/glassy eyes of the white/slate brown and cream are a tad creepy, they are a tad cool too

Yes, it's the eyes! He has human eyes and they're pointing forward in a kind of smarmy way that only enhances that predatory grin full of cigarette-stained teeth. He's like some creepy old man trying to lech onto a young girl in a bar.
