Yeah there is no rare cap in Hyjal. I've seen all 5 spiders and Skarr up in the front and found Magria and Banny up at the same time and someone finding Terrorpene too.Monica Gems wrote:A] Tell that to Magria and Banthalos. Cata rares have a 6 hour spawn timer, with the exception of specific ultra-rares (or sub-ultra). Two examples of these exceptions would be Aoenaxx the mount dropping drake, and Jadefang, the geodesic crab. However, despite the fact that these rares have a 6 hour spawn timer, there is also a per-zone rare count cap. No zone can have more than 3 rares up, at the same time. So for Terrorpene, if Magria, Blazewing, and Ban'thalos are up, you can wait till the cows come home, he will not spawn until one of them is killed, tamed, or despawns.

B] The three rares thing only applies to Northrend; people have seen multiple (over 3) rares up at once in the Molten Front, pretty sure the story was here.
Sorry, but this post doesn't give current, correct information, and I don't want anyone missing a spawn because of it.
As for northrend, yeah there once was a cap but as of 4.0.1, seems to cap was removed.
