Horde Warlock Sets

Unread post by Cally »

I was playing around with the mogit addon looking for a new look for my warlock since the twilight cultist stuff isn't usable right now, and I came across the Witch Doctor's Beads and got side tracked with building a "sexy" warlock outfit instead that also looks primal at the same time. Surprisingly, I managed to build a pretty good set and posted front, back, and side views in the picture below. What do y'all think?

I also came up with this set as a similar look to the twilight cultist set. It's a different color scheme, but I am ok with it.

I'm going to give my vote to the PvP set. It captures the look and feel of the cultist set you were referring to almost perfectly and just looks much more "put-together" and appropriate for your character.

I'm liking the first set too ... although, it doesn't seem quite right for a Blood Elf imo and that's why I voted for the PvP set. The primal outfit, I feel, would be a much better ensemble for a Troll or Orc instead.

I have to say I really like both sets. In the first set, I particularly like the heavy skull theme you have going on with it, though I agree with Niabi that it kind of looks out of place on a Blood Elf given it's primitive look. I think if you swapped the harness with a shirt of some type, it wouldn’t be so out of place in my opinion. In the second set, I like the blood red and black color scheme it has going for it, and it definitely suits a Blood Elf Warlock. I wish the Alliance side had a similar look on some of their PVP sets, but I haven’t found any yet. At any rate, I don’t think it matters much what anyone else thinks as long as you like it :)
