Everyone hears it. Another poor animal abused by some flipping moron who tries to come up excuses why they do it. But this one...this one just got my old Irish temper up.

This guy should be shot with a .22 long rifle, thrown in a dumpster and see how he likes it. Nothing to kill him. But to make him feel how the poor cat felt.

A bit to aggressive? Maybe. But I can't STAND people who abuse pets.

OMG! The poor momma cat and her babies.
I totally would come with you, Kelarese, and shoot him again! Worst thing, the cat looks almost like one of mine does (Flora) and I'm not even close to home in Germany to cuddle and hug her. I need to tell my fiance to give both our cats an extra hug/treat today.

This guy is an effin moron. I'm against animal cruelty, and I say duck tape him in a box, throw him out the window, and shoot him.

And it said it was his girlfriend's cats....*imagines girlfriend finding out*.....yeah that ain't gonna end well...

Just to play devil's advocate, the article does state the police believe someone else shot the mother. And it's possible that if he thought the mother was dead, that he didn't realize the kittens could be saved. The article implies they were very young.

The worst part (other then what he actually did, which by far is the worst part) is how light they made the punishment. 1 year/2500 dollars. Seriously, that's just an insult...

How do you "think" a cat is dead? And dont notice its alive while your PUTTING the animal in a Cardboard box and THEN taping it up? What about the kittens?! Did that guy think THEY were dead too?! Even if the kittens were young, he could have at least attempted to save them. But no, while they are still alive lets just throw them away because I doubt they'd survive anyways. Lazy asshole.

I dont even know what I would do if I was that guy's girlfriend. I really cant think of anything horrible enough I'd be satisfied with.

Why do folks like this get some lesser conviction like in the article:

If convicted, he could face up to one year in prison.

I believe animals are more the way people SHOULD be really. Im sure anyone here who owns a cat or a dog or anything really understands that they love you unconditionally. It doesn't matter what you do, what you look like, or anything. They love you no matter what, and they do everything in their power to understand you. And I hate how people can be so disrespectful of that.
