Ok, so here's how I plan on dressing my hunter. Not really focusing on weapons too much just yet, trying to get the outfit done first.

Overall I like it, I'm trying to incorporate purple into it to match up with the tabard, but over do it. I'm loving the legs and gloves. However, I'm not 100% sold on the shoulders, is anyone aware of any purplish shoulders that could match this set? Preferrably ones that aren't too gigantic and in the way if possible, and I'm not going to a particularly outlandish/fancy look.

Head: Headdress of Inner Rage
Cloak: Shadowvine Cloak of Infusion
Hands: Rock-Giant's Pinky Cover of the Thief
Shoulders: Tidefury Shoulderguards (current) am contemplating Gryphon Mail Pauldrons also, or even Spaulders of Grounded Lightning
Belt: Belt of the Ardent Marksman
Legs: Earthfury Legguards
Boots: Outland Striders

I'm not bothering with chest or wrists, as they're only gonna be covered up anyway

Also thinking about Talhide Lined Boots of the Soldier in place of the Outland Striders. And possibly Void Reaver Greaves in place of Earthfury Legguards. But for the most part the current set up is pretty final unless something else really really catches my eye. It's mostly just the shoulders I'm having issues with finding something suitable for.

Thanks a bunch for posting your set pieces! My hunter is going to try and center around purple gear pieces as well and I've been having a pretty hard time coming across gear that's purple. I already have the cloak from Kara that you listed and I'll be using the staff of Infite Mysteries as her weapon. I couldn't find any core purple gear for her so I think i've settled on getting the Dragonstalker set for the orange/purple stuff and using the staff mentioned with the bow of the phoenix from Prince. I just can't seem to find people to run BWL with me so I've been trying to scrounge up something that I can get solo :/

a lot of stuff i picked out was from the AH, any level so long as it was mail. from there i just weeded my way through what i collected till a group of things looked nice together. after that it was just a case of using model viewer and atlas loot to pick out stuff i'd have to go and farm.

still can't having issues finding some shoulders though, bah.

So I've run Zul Farrak a million times, killed a whole bunch of mobs in Tanaris and Felwood countless times over and over, just learn that the shoulders I'm farming aren't actually in game anymore. Yay.

And after checking out the list of other shoulders I had in mind, none of them exist anymore either, woot.

Anyone know of nice purple like shoulders that might fit the set in the first post?

Bah, the closest I could find were Felstone and Skettis, which don't really suit at all.

Mantle of the Sea Wolf maybe? Only purple orcish shoulders I can think of off the top of my head.

EDIT: Earthfury Legguards is shaman only so you won't be able to transmogrify that. =( You can use the leggings (and maybe other pieces) from Champion's Pursuance set for a purple look.

EDIT 2: Ok here are the small purple shoulders I could find. BTW, finding small shoulders on a male orc is ridiculous. Male orcs make ALL shoulders look huge!

Yeah I did consider those but they're too flashy and jumbo sized :\

What the... When I looted those (looooong long time ago), there was no class restriction on them... when did that get put on?? But more importantly, dammit, I liked those. Fortunately I have a couple of other legs in mind

Yeah these were on my list but I can't seem to access them. The last two are quest rewards, and the two quests that drop them won't appear for me. I've done all the quests that lead up to them, but they won't show. incredibly annoying. The first one is from a vendor, but he has nothing in his inventory to sell. I did all the quests of the zone, and nope, nothin. It makes me feel like Blizz is stopping me getting low level pieces
