Rare beast spawn observation

As a rule of thumb I check the spawn site every half hour, although the last couple of cata rares I have tamed have not spawned at these half hour intervals.

I have noticed if I sit in one single spot for a long time nothing spawns, but if I move off the spot for 1min or so then the rare will spawn. I tamed Ankha at 9:44am today and was sitting on her spawn point for 13hrs, only after I moved off the spawn point an returned did it spawn. Has also happened with a few other rares.

Do rares no longer spawn on half hour intervals?

Rares can spawn at any time at all. 30 minutes past the hour, 17 minutes past the hour...it doesn't matter. I know it's easy to see patterns in the spawns, but it's truly all random.

Yeah. Sorry to say but thats just coincidence it happened like that. ^^;
