So how about them new pet trees?

I have long thought that we should be able to choose our pet's tree. If they go through with this, I will be a happy camper, indeed. If we could furthermore choose which skills they could use, that'd be icing on the cake, but I honestly don't see that happening. They seem to have done a lot of work with making family-specific abilities and I can't imagine they'd scrap that a mere expansion or two later. I could be wrong, though!
