Okay, so I imagine that this probably isn't possible, but the idea of the trick taming (appearance buffs retained after death/abandonment) got me thinking. I just the other day got the death visual buff to work with Princess, and I was going to tame a Tall Strider... While working on the Glowing Plainstriders... I thought to myself, I wonder if it is possible to trick Tame Mazzranache so that she spawns her chicks...
So, I'm curious. Has anyone attempted this?
As I said, I'm fairly certain it wouldn't work. But an intriguing question nonetheless.

I might add, that I understand the chicks are not an appearance buff, but if the game simply pulls the original base attributes from the creature, it stands to reason that in theory Mazz could also spawn chicks that follow if tamed in this manner.

I honestly don't think this is possible. Appearences are one thing, but that'd be like taming one of the AQ's royal bug family and trying to get the other 2 to spawn with the one you tamed.
