I'll be waiting on the highland, with its wonderful serenity.
Where the stars glow and the brooks flow, that's my way of life.
When the mountains on the highland, and the nature is surrounding me, when the wind blows, that's all I need.

and i would like to put this in there

pos·si·ble
adjective
1. that may or can be, exist, happen, be done, be used.
2.that may be true or may be the case.

do you understand where I'm going with that?
I'll try not to make this as aggressive, Kalli was right, I probably was a bit snippy.

Very well, I will grant you Chromagus. I would like to point out that is the exception, not the rule. That is one of maybe two or three pets that Blizz have gone back on. That's of a few of a hundred or so pets, which are of there part of hundreds of creatures. Blizzard can say it is possible they will add perma-death, but that doesn't mean they will. They can say it is possible they will shut down WoW, doesn't mean it's true. I can say it is possible I will get diabetes (My mom has had it for years and I am gentically more likely to suffer from it) doesn't mean I will.

When you use 'possibility' as the basis of your argument, it makes the argument rather weak, because you're going off a chance. A maybe. There is nothing finite and sure about your arguments or points, you're just saying, "Well, this happened once, it could happen again." There comes a time where possibility just can't win the argument, and this is one of those times.

so this is an argument ? hmm funny how one little post can bring the ugliness in people seems like im working with some one who wont be happy unless they are right weather they are right or not so im just gona leave it at that

all this thread was ment to do was to show the POSSIBILITY of a new monkey skin they could likely use but seems some people want to turn it into a whos right contest

You seem to have misinterpreted my definition of argument. I suppose the proper word should have been debate. I am not trying to pick a fight, but rather try to prove a point. However, judging by your wording, you seem to assume that I am out to get you.

And believe me, Rockso, you haven't seen ugliness. I was being -extremely- polite up there. As much as I could.

Furthermore, this thread was for you to express wishful thinking that was just that: wishful. There was an extreme doubt on whether it would come true and now you're assuming the worst.

i would still like to express that these stand and walk on two legs and not on all 4's (or on legs because their arms are actually wings, thus making walking on all 4's impossible) is a very strong reason and guideline blizz follows in deeming what is viable for beast and viable for humanoid. I dont know much about the science's view on creatures that walk on 4's and ones that walk on 2's but i myself believe that if they walk on 2's, they are on some track in evolution to becoming a sentient humanoid race and are more advanced as a result then a 4 legged creature.

Also a little off topic but Rockso, your sig probably needs to be changed. 300 width and 800 height is the max we can have. Yours is 799 height and 445 width.

Yep, that's the first thing I thought when I looked at the sig, the magnitude of the problem.

Erm, i dont know whats allowed and whats not but i personally and im sure theres others who are the same way, dont wanna see a luminescent neon green, erm, whatever that skin tight clothing is with a very noticeable bulge between the legs and big 'I DO COCAINE' letters. Just the inclusion of 'cocaine' should make it reportable

and the so called bulge in his pants was the first thing you noticed?

as far as the I DO COCAINE thing its simply his saying from the show

its a harmless quote from a cartoon. Is my sig really gona go out and make u do cocaine?

i could say your sig is offensive cause it has a cat in a violent attacking pose

Those are adult shows, there are people of all ages that come on this site and to these forums and they all have personal views. I'll just leave it at that cause i know that even just one post more about it is gonna make the thread turn ugly. Im getting the impression you seem like ive violently attacked you.

Edit: *Editing cause i dont want to actively continue the argument, specially cause i let myself get carried away last time Rockso posted on the forum*

Its also not just because they're adult shows either, theres a lot of people who find it offensive, in general and its something that will definitely rub them the wrong way and feel that this forum is 1. not child friendly, 2. may find themselves leaving because they dont feel like they should have to see such a thing but may feel like they dont have a choice in the matter, 3. it can be seen as supporting an illegal substance, making it look cool and fun, and 4. Not everyone knows the show your talking about, not everyone knows what metalpocolypse (spellcheck?), i didnt know what it was and if i didnt ask id never know what it was.

To new users who see this signature, or people who are seldom on or who have returned from a very long break may get a very bad impression about the forums and that does affect the community. I will not lie, and i hope its obvious in my few posts regarding it that i am being truthful, i do not appreciate seeing signatures, avatars (luckily avatars are tiny so i ignore ones that i dont like and just dont look that direction as much as possible) pictures, text without a warning. There are threads here that warn people that it contains things that arent safe for everyone to read or see, theres warnings so people arent forced to look at or read something. It warns them so they dont click it, thinking its harmless, and then seeing something that they may find offensive.

I actually agree with you. We do have younger eyes on the forum.

Added an edit to the post Jessi quoted, her comment just reminded me that its not just child-unfriendly, its community-unfriendly

And what does this have to do with monkey skins, exactly? Back on topic, people.
Remember, it's better to report any potential problems you see than post about it in a random thread. Otherwise we may not see it.

(Regarding the signature, Dr. Rockso and I are having a PM conversation about the drug reference. Although there were no forum guidelines specifically about this situation, without context the line falls under inappropriate content. We will be adding a forum rule to help explain that. You are on your own with the green bulge and incredible ugliness, however.)

I think it looks like that new monkey race of people. Alot of animal themed races in this expack it seems. Mantis, koy carp/goldfish (there both carps so could easily be based of both) people, rabbit kolbolds, panda......

So back onto the original topic, Chromaggus is different, imo. Chromaggus looks like a corehound to me, and at the time Blizz wouldn't have had a family to put that kind of creature into, being Vanilla. These however are an entire race of humanoids, such as murlocs or rockflayers- They appear kind of beastly, but no way we can tame one. Chances of taming the monkies are slim to none, though getting a new primate skin isn't completely out of the question given the theme for this x-pac.

Yeah. Chromaggus was never classified humanoid. He always acted and roared like a corehound despite being called a demon.

It would be like tameing a Makrura. It looks like a wild beast but is in fact smart. I mean they have citys! You can't tame things that build citys.

Nope. They're sentient. It's pretty much a similar reason to why we can't take phoenixes or dragons.

Makrura are smart it's been showen in lore people just judge them and think they are not cos they look like giant lobsters lol. We will never be able to tame phoenixes as they are elementals and should stay that way or dragons infact I think we have enough familys we don't need anymore!
