However you play the game, enjoy it. But please don't insult me for what I ask for or do differently. I got the most horrible LFD group today who kept tearing into a healer because he had blues. Isn't that why we run heroics? Sheesh.

I mostly wish for more stable spaces so I can try more families and still enjoy what I have. I don't think wanting something is mockworthy and it makes me sad to think people think things like: OH! You want new rares/pets?! SCREW YOU. You're the reason we can't get hunter fixes!*

Really now im reading some kids tumblr, and apparently the kids parents told him candians are evil just cause hotel wont accept the kids money.
Yeah and because theres less churches, pop music and jesus apparently ((Well for a fun fact the town I live in has three churches for our religion))

You're going so fast that my son has no chance to even try to say a word before you fill it in for him and that's not fair to him. He's little. He has to think about some words first.

If you'll give him a chance, he'll talk for you, but as long as you keep rushing, he'll just keep repeating you, because that's all that he thinks that you want from him. Until then...I guess you'll keep being convinced that I'm lying when I say he talks up a storm at home.

I keep on having vivid nightmares these past few nights. They are all of realistic situations like getting in a car crash, moving suddenly, family/pets dieing, being fired from my job, etc. I'm not sure why I'm having them. I'm not under too much stress, but I have been working 50-60 hours a week since June, so maybe I'm just exhausted. These dreams are stressing me out more than anything going on right now.

-on cellphone- ive done nothing wrong, nothing, so why am I always being attacked, why am I always a victim? Ive been constantly depressed but been hiding it cause I feel like things will only get worse if I show it, and that makes it even worse imside me, ive lost my appetite almosy completely, it used to be me losing my appetite for breakfast, but now I hardly ever want to eat, and it was made even worse today when stepdads sister had to go to hospital cause her surgery to remove breast cancer developed a major infection so now shes gonna get a tube stuck in it to drain and this all together killed my idea to eat cause its tipped my emotions from moody to down right depressed and anti-social and I got yelled at and sworn at cause I dont want to eat dinner and I said I didnt want to be in this kind of environment and then I was threatened to have my computer and monitor trashed and thrown into the dumpster, then threatened to be kicked out of the house to find a new place to live and then told to just leave cause I was gonna go to bf's to get away from the house but I stayed home, put my stuff away, half nuked some crappy meatloaf and now I still sit here with half frozen meatloaf in my light-less (didnt want lights on) room too scared to leave the false comfort of my blankets

I hate group work sometimes. We had to do some calculations. And I knew what I was doing, it was relatively simple stuff, the equations given to us, etc etc... Never done it before but it was relatively simple to work out. So I did them all, but my page was a mess do to some trial and error stuff (it's how my brain works). So usually, one group member does a cleaned up version, and we hand that in. Except my group members would NOT listen to me on this aspect. I don't know why. My numbers made sense. But no. But that's okay, my brain works pretty differently, I've come to realize (judging by the fact that the way I explain things osmetimes confuses people, or the interesting memory cues I use, heh that sort of thing). But then they go on and do all the work aside from me.. not even involving me or consulting with me despite the fact that I had ALL the work done already. I just said "screw you guys" (okay.. not out loud..) and after double checking with the prof, handed mine in solo.

Now I'm feeling all stressed, and a little panicy again... So.. I'm thinking about terrorizing Orgrimmar again (anyone that was in guild chat last night knows what I'm talking about, heh)

But yeah.. hate group work sometimes....

We do NOT definitively get to pick our pet's talents in MoP. The key word was "THINK". "We think we're going to let people choose" Not "We will allow people to choose"

It's a pet peeve of mine, and every time I see people mentioning it as "fact" it makes me cringe and want to smash my head against something. Yes, it's an awesome idea. Yes, I HOPE we get it. No, I don't think we should be saying "Oh, blizz always backs out on stuff like this so it won't be coming"... But "We might get it, and that would be cool. I hope so" Not... "I can't wait until we can get to choose our pet's specs in 5.0!"...

People that didn't see the stream will take what they read as FACT. It's easy enough for broken telephone effect to change rumor to fact <.< No need to help it along. If this falls through... And they decide to do something different, I might end up leaving the forum for a bit to avoid the temptation of "I told you so" as people complain that "omg, they said we were getting it, and now we didn't!".

Again.. I hope we get it. I really do. But don't tote "maybes" as "OMG YAY! Next xpac we get it! I'm gonna start planning/building my stable around that!" <.<

Disclaimer: This thread isn't geared at any one person. It's just a general comment. I've even seen conversations in trade chat on this topic, so it's not even directed at the topics in this board in general. Just at the idea of rumor != fact. No matter how awesome and desired it is, heh.

...Seriously? First off, we get 1 hour for lunch. Doesn't matter when we take it. Usually people will come back about 15 to 20 minutes over. No big deal. Ive done it plenty on the days I actually "get" to take lunch.

But of all things our boss who is the guy who is supposed to deal with employees time cards and shit, takes up to two hours if not longer lunches EVERY DAY.

Today? Three. Fucking THREE hours. Whats even sadder? He leaves at 12, comes back in at 3, and COOKS HIS LUNCH in our kitchen.

AND THEN to top it off. He says he is leaving and hour early today. We get off at 5. Its 3. So he is leaving at 4.

So, my developmental lab report is getting peer reviewed. I was skeptical about the process, as I REALLY hate having to rely on other people for my marks. That's not to say my group work is always worse than my solo work, I just... don't like having other people to blame because I KNOW that I can get bitter, and resentful, and spiteful, even if I don't intend to.

So anyways, I was all worried that the fact that my grade is coming from other people could turn out really bad... What if I didn't get a grade because OTHER people were too lazy, and didn't bother to do the work of grading my paper? But, I tried to ease my fears... "This is university, 2nd year. People are older, and probably taking their education more seriously. Plus, you can get an easy 1% if you mark the paper fairly. Nobody will skimp out on doing this. Stop worrying. People are mature adults"

Yeah.. Not so much.. Turns out that I got one of the few people that just didn't care enough.. so they didn't bother reviewing/marking my report. Granted.. there's still one mark, but we were supposed to get averaged... I'm not worried what this might mean for my grade :/ Will have to wait for the lab prof to get back to me I guess...
