Finally I have Nuramoc! He was the second rare I really wanted, after Loque. I searched and camped for him forever until I finally gave up. Then a few nights ago I figured wth and decided to do a lap around his spawning area. First lap...nothing..but something told me to do another one...sure enough there he was! After giving up on him I wasn't really even sure I wanted him anymore. But that was before I tamed him! Once he was mine I realized how gorgeous he is and I'm soo glad I gave in to the sudden random urge to check on him. I named him Aeolus after the greek god of the winds.

I am thrilled with this new addition! This is Armida, which means little armored one. When I saw this model on Petopia I was like, "why do I not have this pet??". She is in the same area that Nuramoc pats and even after months of searching the same area for him I didn't even notice her. It wasn't until I tamed her that I realized how much she matches one of my transmog outfits. Bonus! She is just so detailed and amazing looking. I want whoever illustrated Sambas fired and replaced with Armida's artist lol! I love her idle animations, she's so lively and life like. Blizz calls her the Grey Wind Serpent which sounds so boring and blah....everything Armida is not. I love the steel grey body with her coral peach highlights! So pretty!

The funny thing is that the very instant that Armida became my pet my add on goes off for Nuramoc...again!!! After no sight of him for months! What a funny coincidence!! So since "my" Nuramoc, Aeolus, was safe and sound in my stable my bf and I decided to kill him for the achievement. Thanks, Armida!

While doing Oracle dailies in Scholazar I came across Venomtip, a purple serpent. On a whim I decided to tame him and then fell in love with the serpants. They are gorgeously colored and I love how the light dances across their bodies. They are very animated with their movements too. Ultimately I settled on the violet model as "my" serpent and I love him. That gorgeous maroon face was the deciding factor. I named him Volos after the Slavic god of the underworld, earth, and water. Very fitting for a serpent I originally found beside a stream:

This is Andraste, another pet I wasn't sure I wanted but just did a fly-by before logging for the night. I love her and can't believe I didn't search for her before. She is another one who wasn't up on the first lap and I just had an urge to do a second...and there she was!

Kirix, renamed Vermont, is goona hang with me for a while until I reclaim my Aranea (Anthriss). He was such a pain to tame that I just had to let him hang around for a while. Who's that raid boss that yell's "You have to really want it!" Nefarian, I think? Anyway, during the two hours of glitches and failed attempts that was my Kirix taming experience, that saying kept going through my head, lol. Yes, I'm a nerd!

This is not really a new pet, I've had him for a while, but I began to feel less and less bonded to him. I even thought about releasing him on occasion but all the time spent camping him stopped me. Then I realized I just wasn't clicking with his name. I'm really into getting the perfect name for my pet and if the name is off something just doesn't feel right about that pet for me. So I realized instead of Kaffir his name should really be Jabari. It fits him so much better. Now I have Jameel (Loque) and Jabari (Skarr) as my two badass kittie boys. Their names mean handsome and brave.
