Profession Items to Transmog?

Hey all-

Please view this thread that I posted on the main WoW forums in the PTR section. I'd love to know if anyone has tried this!

Edit:

Okay I went and farmed a bunch of ore and tried this out on my PTR Warlock. Here's what happened:

With Engineering Skill 100 - Transmog PVE Helm to Flying Tiger Goggles. Success.

Drop Engineering. PVE Helm retains Flying Tiger Goggles Appearance.

Try to Transmog PVP Helm to Flying Tiger Goggles. No go- I got an error saying something along the lines of, "You must be able to equip the item you are trying to transmogrify."

So there you go!

That's a really good question, I've been wondering the same... Unfortunately I don't have an answer...

Update: I posted an Edit in my original post after I decided to go onto the PTR and farm the mats/skill in order to try it.
